Great Fit, Stretch & Moisture Wicking for Hiking
"I absolutely love these merino wool shirts! The fit is flattering, the material has plenty of stretch, and they do a great job wicking moisture while I’m hiking in the Idaho mountains. They’re comfortable enough to wear all day and work really well as a hiking/hunting base layer. For sizing reference, I’m 5’6½”, 138 lbs, broad-shouldered with a 34DDD bust. I sized down to a Small because I prefer a more fitted, athletic look, and there is still plenty of stretch without feeling restrictive through my shoulders or chest. If you prefer a looser or slightly baggier fit, I would recommend staying true to size. If you like your hiking shirts more fitted like I do, sizing down worked perfectly for me. My one wish is that they would make a hooded version for women like they do for the men’s shirts! A lightweight merino hood would be perfect for extra sun protection and those cooler mornings in the mountains. Overall, I’m really impressed with the fit, comfort, stretch, and moisture-wicking performance. These have quickly become one of my go-to shirts for hiking in the Idaho mountains! 🦌⛰️"

Runs small
"I love this top but it runs small, I always buy size large to fit my broad shoulders and long arms, I’m 5’9” 150lb slim. This is no where near any larges I’ve ever bought. It’ll be fine for an under layer but that’s not what I ordered it for. The shoulder seams are almost an inch short of my shoulders."

"I absolutely LOVE this top. It is my staple go to for scouting pre-season as it's light and dries fast, keeps the bugs off. I hand wash ALL MERINO pieces from Kuiu by hand and hang/dry flat. I have used this shirt so much I've worn it to nearly see-through so I bought two more during the Memorial Day sale. I'm an avid Whitetail hunter in NW Maine/VT and this serves as a (lucky) baselayer during the entire season as a MUST. I layer a 1/4 zip on top and the superdown vest and the outer jacket, downpour or superdown based on weather. I even bought one for my husband and one for my girlfriend who hunts with me. I'm a size M- 5'7 152lb. I cannot live, hunt, stalk or scout without this piece!"

- Is the fabric in this top ironable? I’d like to use to for to put an iron ranch brand logo but am not sure if this would damage the fabric
- You can use a cool iron on the Ultra Merino items, but we do not recommend a hot iron on Merino pieces
