Loyalty Rewards Terms & Conditions
MEMBERSHIP
I: FREE MEMBERSHIP
No purchase is necessary to obtain membership in the Program.
II: ELIGIBILITY
You must be age 18 years or older and a resident of the United States to be eligible for membership. Membership in the Program is limited to individuals only and is limited to one account per individual. Persons under the age of 18 ("Minors") must obtain their parents' or legal guardians' consent prior to participation. By signing up for the Program, you agree that you are over the age of 18 (or if you are a Minor, that your parent or legal guardian has consented) and you agree (or, if you are a Minor, your parent or legal guardian agrees) to be bound by these terms and conditions. KUIU employees are not eligible to join the Inner Circle. Some Inner Circle promotions may be unavailable in certain cases as they cannot be combined with some promotions and/or special pricing.
III: ENROLLMENT
When you enroll in the Program and provide us your first name, last name, and email address, you are opting-in to receive marketing emails from us. You may change your marketing email preferences at any time by clicking on the link found at the bottom of our marketing emails. You will, however, continue to receive transactional messages from us regarding the Program. The Program is void where prohibited by law. Members are entitled to only one Member Account. Your Points, Rewards, registered KUIU account, and your account under KUIU Rewards are personal to you and may not be sold, transferred or assigned to, or shared with family, friends or others. You may apply to become a member of the Program by visiting kuiu.com.
IV: ACCESS/CHANGE MEMBER INFORMATION
Members must keep their personal information on their Program membership account (the "Account") up-to-date by visiting the kuiu.com/account.
V: ONLINE ACCOUNT MAINTENANCE
Once you are a registered user of the Website, you may view a summary of your Account on the Website. After logging onto the Website, simply click on the "My Account" link in the header of the Website homepage and change any information on your account.
VI: MEMBER CANCELLATION
You may cancel your Program membership at any time by sending an email to service@kuiu.com. Upon cancellation, any unused points accrued in your account will be forfeited and cannot be redeemed and you will no longer be eligible for any Program benefits.
EARNING POINTS
I: GENERAL MEMBERS
General Members can earn points on the purchase of qualifying merchandise on kuiu.com.
II: EARNING RATE
Members earn one (1) point for every one dollar ($1) spent on merchandise. You do not earn points on the purchase of gift cards or for the amount of a purchase paid with a gift card or Inner Circle Rewards.
III: ADDITION OF POINTS TO ACCOUNTS
Points earned for qualifying purchases made on the Website will be credited 30 days after your purchase. The timing for issuing points is subject to change.
Points expire on an annual basis. Your points will expire one year to the date that they were earned. (Example: Joe purchased $300 worth of gear on 3/26/2024, those 300 points would be reflected on his account until 3/26/2025)
Platinum members with points prior to 3/1/24, all prior points will expire 3/1/25.
IV: EXCLUSIONS
Members can earn points based on the purchase price of qualifying products minus any discounts, gift card balances applied, or other credits offered in connection with the product and only earn points on purchases made while they are logged onto their account on the Website at time of purchase. Calculation of Program points excludes payment by the Member for shipping charges and all taxes, including without limitation, federal, state, and local taxes or use taxes.
a: For example, if a product that is normally $100 is on sale for $75, a Member will only earn points on the purchase price of $75. Purchases of gift cards, redemption of merchandise vouchers, gift cards, or Inner Circle Rewards, and any type of price adjustments, including merchandise returns, are not eligible for points.
b: All purchases made: (i) by a Member prior to such Member joining the Program or (ii) on the Website without a Member being logged onto the Member's Account, are not eligible for Program credit.
V: RETURNS
Points earned for a purchase that is then the subject of a return, refund, returned check due to non-sufficient funds, or other credit will be deducted from the Member's account in an amount equal to the points earned for the original transaction, including bonus points. If a return will cause your Account to have a negative point balance, a zero account balance will be placed into your Account.
REDEEMING KUIU REWARDS
I: GENERAL
KUIU Rewards earned by a Member may be redeemed for money off products purchased.
II: GIFT CARDS KUIU
Rewards cannot be used towards the purchase of gift cards and you do not earn points on the purchase of a gift card or the amount of a purchase paid with a gift card or Inner Circle Rewards.
III: REDEMPTION
Members may redeem their KUIU Rewards on any purchase made on the website or in the store. To redeem KUIU Rewards towards a purchase on the Website, a Member must be a registered user of the Website and must have linked their Account number with their Online account. KUIU Rewards may be redeemed on the purchase price of qualifying products only and cannot be used towards the payment of sales tax or shipping and handling charges or for the purchase of gift cards. A maximum of two earned rewards can be applied to one single order. This equates to a maximum of 2000 points redeemed in the form of a $100 Gift Card per order. KUIU Rewards expire within 90 days of when they are issued. Terms are subject to change.
IV: EXCLUSIONS KUIU
Rewards accumulated on different Accounts of different Members may not be shared, transferred, combined or aggregated to make purchases of products or for any other reason. KUIU Rewards earned in a transaction cannot be redeemed in the same transaction.
GENERAL
By joining the Program, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in these Program rules. KUIU reserves the right to cancel, modify, or restrict any aspect of the Program, including, without limitation, the point conversion ratio and the point expiration policy, at any time. Any changes can be made without advance notice and any such changes would be stated in an updated version of these Terms.KUIU may make changes to these Terms even though such changes may affect the Member's ability to use points already accumulated. You are responsible for remaining knowledgeable about these Terms, so review these Terms regularly. A Member's points balance, as reflected in KUIU’s records, shall be deemed conclusive and correct.KUIU reserves the right to determine the amount of points in any Member's account based on KUIU’s internal records related to such Member's Account. In the event of an inconsistency between the amount accrued in a Member's Account and KUIU’s internal records, KUIU internal records will control.KUIU assumes no responsibility for errors caused by incorrect Member information. Your right to transfer points earned or granted under the Program is strictly limited. The sale of points is prohibited and may result in the confiscation or cancellation of your points as well as suspension or termination of your membership, which in each case shall be final and conclusive. KUIU may revoke any Member's membership in the Program at any time if such Member engages in abuse of the Program or fails to follow these Terms. Fraud or abuse relating to the accrual of points or redemption of rewards may result in revocation of membership in the Program and may affect a Member's eligibility for participation in any other KUIU program.
COMMUNICATION
Unless Member has opted out of receiving marketing communications, Company may (at its option) communicate with Members about marketing via mail, email and other channels, including about special Member promotions, offers and more. Company will also use these channels to communicate Member tier status, notify Member when they are eligible for a benefit or Reward (defined below), and communicate Program changes. Please note that even if you opt out of receiving marketing or promotional communications, Company may continue to send you non-marketing or non-promotional emails, such as those about your account, orders, or our ongoing business relations.
