Reviews

Corporate Pilot Backpack

"As a corporate pilot, this bag is a huge upgrade from the one provided by my company. The multiple interior zippered compartments make organization easy, and I love that it stands upright on the ramp and opens wide for easy access. It attaches to my carry-on hard-shell luggage both vertically and horizontally. The rigid construction provides added protection for my headset and valuables, and the separate laptop/iPad compartment is a great feature. Overall, an excellent, well-designed backpack for pilots who travel frequently."

Waypoint pack has it all

"This pack has it all for me. I wanted to take my very essentials with me in the plane to hunt in Spain in case luggage is delayed or lost. I have been able to fit boot, binos and a full set of cold weather Kuiu clothes and make sure I don’t end up borrowing or buying if my gear doesn’t arrive with me."

— Masoud Y. (5/5)

Great product, larger than expected.

"It is bigger than I thought. Not sure it would fit under a seat on a plane. I purchased to replace a current backpack for work and it’s probably 2” too deep. Otherwise, as per usual with anything Kuiu, top quality zippers, storage, etc. I’ll keep it but make other travelers mad because I’ll take up a spot in the overhead bin."

— Bryan F. (4/5)

Not so good product!

"Disappointed—the bag started losing its shape during my trip I recently used my Waypoint backpack on a trip to Florida and the Bahamas, and I’m very disappointed with how it held up. The structured portion of the bag started warping and losing its shape, with the front panel bowing inward. I don’t know what material is used inside to give the bag its structure or whether humidity caused the problem. However, the way it softened and warped makes me question its durability. If the internal support uses cardboard or another moisture-sensitive material, that would be a disappointing choice for a travel backpack. I expected this bag to maintain its shape during normal travel. Seeing it deform during this trip has left me disappointed in the quality and my purchase."

The bag is nice and

"The bag is nice and offers good room for a couple of days. The zippers are not great. There needs to be a redesign in order for them to slide easier."

Travel backpack

"Super product, as multiple compartments. Used separate area for change of clothing, toiletries, etc. Totally separate area for quick travel documents, passport, cash etc. Planned use for non-airline use as smaller foldable rifle & pistol for vehicle & conceal ability. Ultra-light & tough. Five stars."
