"I have all three weights of the Marino line and this 145 is my favorite. The most personal and best base layer for outdoor activities. This is mostly used for snowboarding. It regulates, hot and cold excellent. I really enjoy the fit as well."

Better Used Under a Jacket, Not Durable Enough

"The shirt is comfortable, pretty breathable, and isn’t itchy like other wool options but I wouldn’t not use it as an independent shirt without a jacket over it. They don’t market it as a brush busting exterior layer shirt but it will get caught on everything you walk through, and will easily rip if you’re not careful. I know any shirt will do this to some extent, but it seemed extreme to have 5 holes in my shirt after 1 day in the field after walking through a little scrub oak and pines. The only way to use this shirt is if your not going to encounter any brush at all to walk through, or if your using it as a base layer and occasionally taking off your jacket to cool down, which you might as well look at other options Kuiu offers at that point."
