Great Hoodies & very comfortable

"I now own a few of the Ultra Merino 120 LT LS’s. I live in the South and work outside a lot and the Kuiu light weight merino hoodies dry pretty quick when you sweat, don’t smell and best of all for me is this Kuiu material is the most comfortable against your skin. Size runs pretty true. I’m 6’4 220 and XXL is a good fit for me. I’ve been Very satisfied with Kuiu brand!"

Fantastic, but be warned

"This shirt almost immediately became one of my all time favorite shirts. It is ultra soft next to skin, great at temperature regulation and survives the the general daily wear and tear. Only thing to be mindful of is this is not a brush busting shirt of any kind. It can snag easily and threads can pull quickly. Past versions have pilled a bit as well, but I actually dont care at all because it os so comfy."

Best Baselayer on the Market!

"The Ultra Merino 120 LT LS Hoodie is my go to base layer when it's cool and when it gets warmer I wear it as a top on it's own. It is extremely comfortable and lightweight. Very breathable and versatile in its ability to take the chill off and then turn around and wick moisture and keep you cool. Naturally blocks scent and super quiet. Great value and the basis of my layering system."

My favorite Hoodie

"I wear this in the AZ Summer and IN Winter. It works in so many conditions and stays cool or warm???? How do it know? Seriously it is soft and comfortable, controls moisture and holds up well even when cactus try and get the best of me. Also it doesn’t stink after days. Great mid or base layer as well depending on what you are doing. I just can’t say enough."

Excellent product

"This is easily one of the best clothing items I have purchased. The merino wool feels excellent against the skin—it is incredibly soft and almost feels like you are not wearing anything. At the same time, it provides just the right amount of warmth. Whenever the temperature allows, this is the only layer I want to wear. Excellent product and highly recommended."

Not great for hot weather, synthetic better

"This is really more of a cool (sub 65°) base layer. As a sun shirt in above 70° its not as good as the synthetic. The garment itself is fine. Merino is more delicate, so my main complaint is that as an advertised "hot weather external layer" its not good. It held sweat more than other merino i have too. On a 6 mile ruck, it was soaked in 78° weather, maybe 60% humidity with a breeze. Same trail, same weight, warmer weather, synthetic was dry."

Great product.

"I love this one so much I bought multiple other colors and will become my go to outdoor piece. I ordered one size up because I didn’t want it hugging me too tight and have room if I want to put a merino undershirt on. The fit is comfortable, the garment is soft and I wore it in 100 degree weather and it wicked away sweat walking and kept me pretty cool with breeze. The Gila is the best hot weather gear but this one is close 2nd and perfect for everyday wear outside in most conditions"

Keeps Me Cool and Doesn't Stink

"I haven't worn this out on a hunt yet per-se. However I did wear it recently while mowing my yard for two hours during the middle of a 100 degree day in Texas. I worked up a good sweat, and this hoodie kept the sun off me and kept me cool. When the hoodie was a little damp, the breeze flet really good. The arm pit area didn't stink at all when I was done, and I wear a regular Dove deodorant - I don't wear an anti-persperant like I WILL do while on a hunt. And I'll be honest - I have the Gila synthetic hoodie and I wore that thing in the same manner a few weeks ago, and it smelled like a locker room afterward. The armpit area was atrocious. I definitely prefer a lightweight merino even in hot weather purely for the "funk" factor."

ARRIVE DRY

"Staying dry hiking in to my stands & blinds had always been a problem - usually sweaty, wet( and smelly) on arrival. Didn't matter the weather. . . zero to 70, didn't matter. i started experimenting with KUIU about 3 years ago and it's been a game-changer . Love the Peloton and the Merino Wools as bases and 2nd layers to hike in. Now I Arrive dry. DRY. At the Stand I add another Peloton or a Proximity or Mountain coat depending on temp and weather. Let me state for the record, just because KUIU gets a " western mountain hunting" reputation, their hunting gear is outstanding for northern midwest and northeast hunting. Hey, it's about arriving dry, layering up gradually, and being comfortable when that shot presents itself. A+ on my Peloton"

Fits Well, Quite Warn

"I am a female who was looking for a base layer Merino wool. Ended up ordering a men's small and it fits reasonably well. Would be nice if they designed women's fitting but I decided that the men's small would probably work"
