Reviews

Highly recommend

"Bought the short sleeve for archery this year. 100 + degree here in northern ca. The shirt fits great and it breathes well and is not scratchy. Stickers can get stuck in it but it seems to not get ruined when you pull them out. Really tested it out during Archery deer in Oregon and we had hot days and colder wet days. It was a great base layer. Very comfortable and the odor just did not stink over 6 days of wearing it. So impressed by the comfort that when I got home I ordered the long sleeve version. Highly recommend"

Great fit, great range of temperatures.

"Recently wore this for a pronghorn hunt where it was low 50's in the morning and mid 80's mid day. That and my pack, I was comfortable all day. I was amazed at how warm it kept me. I had a jacket packed, but didn't need it at all. Then when it heated up, I'd say it was as cool as the Gila cover ups. I was quite comfortable as it really breathes well and wicked moisture well."

Awesome gear

"The shirt is fantastic along with all the other lightweight merino gear. Incredibly comfortable and manages moisture very well. Durable and doesn’t stretch out too much. So far always returns to size after pushing up sleeves etc. Used as underlayer for hot weather operations with gear on top. After being very sweaty (super hot weather) was able to take off and dry in the sun quickly. Will be buying more of this stuff. Only thing thing to note is the fabric does catch on velcro if you have exposed velcro, but didn’t tear up the shirt even still."

Honest Review

"Great quality, breathable yet warm. It’s a great shirt for early season whitetail or great underneath other layers during late season whitetail. I got a size up from what I normally do so it fit looser. I’m a reatively fit guy so nothing ever fits right and getting the size up worked for me."

— Cullen B. (5/5)

Just okay

"Like all other items the quality is there. I did not expect the ULTRA Marino 120 to be what it was. The color was dull, the fit was way off (to big) of the other long sleeves I have and the quick dry was not as quick as the amazing Peloton 118. I would not buy again and wish I could return. Again, the Kuiu quality is still there besides the large fit."

— Nigel S. (3/5)

Phenomenal comfort and moisture wicking

"I hunt in the high desert and the warmth in the morning and thr moisture wicking when the sun comes up is amazing. Can sweat through it and it doesn't retain odors. Would definitely order again."

Ultra Merino LT LS Verde

"It's one of my favorite pieces in my kit. Holds up great after days and miles of hunting. Keeps odor to a minimum and dries quickly. PSA: Do NOT put it in the dryer... Merino is not forgiving. This is my second purchase because I was careless after my hunt last year. Bought twice.. cried once!"

— Joel M. (5/5)

Great shirt for archery season

"Greta shirts as a layer or primary shirt for early/late September archery elk hunt in NM. Wicks moisture and stayed warm in the mornings/evenings. My only suggestions is that I wish the shirt was longer"

Ultra Merino 120 LS

"I have a few of these in my Kuiu collection !! Great, warm base layer for cold conditions. . I have a week long hunt in wyoming late oct, early november. Snowed on us for 2 days last year. and was -4 the next morning. . COLD. . but I was warm in my Kuiu gear!@"

— William S. (5/5)

A perfect base layer

"This long sleeve merino is perfect for cool, cold or rainy weather under a fleece or shell or light rain jacket so you don’t get sticky. Also good open in warmer weather when sun protection and wicking desired. And wont melt to you if hit with IED. Though I haven’t tried this out yet. A tighter weave than I have experienced in other merino wool base layers. Less prone to contact wear and holing I think. I easily washed in sink and dried quickly."
