"So hunting season has not hit yet so this article has not been worn but I have others. My biggest complaint is the durability. The material is more fragile than in years past and tears and snags easily. I suspect this is the trade off for softer material. Yes i bought it again so it is not enough to keep me from buying it. I would like to see more durability over soft."

Sizing?!

"Maybe its how I washed my first non-hooded version (L) or updated sizes, but I feel like I'm swimming (both sleeves and mid waist) in the XL (5'9" 195lb) for something meant as a baselayer (I feel its too thin/light to be a mid). Other than that, excited to get out hunting with it this fall. Definitely warm, comfortable and lightweight!!"

I love the color. The

"I love the color. The fit is acceptable. Most everyone likes a really long sleeve. I like them to break at my wrist. I have a 200 weight in a pneuma quarter zip that seems to be heavier weight. It is also a 200 weight. Overall I do like it."

Great mid layer or extra layer

"I've found KUIU clothing to run slightly small, so I usually order one size up. With this hoodie I've used it as an outer layer in mild conditions and mid layer in colder temps, which means I've had something underneath it. XXL fit good with just a bit of room. Surprisingly durable, comfortable and fast drying. I own two of these in different colors."

"I’ve been hunting in ski base layer merino for a long time. It was time to get some new base for Colorado in Nov so I picked up Kuiu base and I’ve only worn it at the house but it fits and feels like it cost…. NICE stuff. No doubt it will perform great in November."
