Warm but not durable.

"The product snagged almost immediately. Half a dozen wears and it had so many loose threads that I needed to get out the scissors. I bought this pull over for business casual travel and it now looks too ratty to wear. No warranty support from Kuiu. My mistake was thinking outdoor gear could survive the harsh environment of the urban jungle. Oh well, guess it will get an early retirement to the beat around drawer. Other than the physical appearance, it is warm and fits well. Great mid layer."

Pilling and thread runs

"I purchased four of these and the all started to “pill” and have thread “runs” on them. I hand washed them and hung them to dry. The attack pants I bought have threads pulling out in random spots. None of these products have been hunted with yet. Will not be buying another kuiu product"

Great gear, terrible sizing. . .

Everything I wear here, in Australia, is XXL yet when I buy my normal XXL from the USA, the clothing is usually too big? I query this because the fitment guides always say that I should purchase/order my normal size???"

"I was disappointed in the material. I thought it was going to be more like the LT Verde 1/4 zip I ordered. (Double check me on that) For the price, I feel like this material isn’t going to last long and is not as comfortable. Not having the hood is also a downside. Still love Kuiu! Just not thrilled with the valo order I placed recently."

"The material is coming apart. Haven't worn it but three times would not buy again. Also have the full zip hoodie and it's doing the same thing. Very disappointed. My son recommended these to me. He loves his, but I think I won't be buying no more. Very disappointed."

The Pro Merino 200 Zip-T does not have a hood, but we do also offer the Pro Merino 200 Zip-T Hoodie which does have a hood
Is this the warmest base layer you have?
This is more of a mid layer than a base layer. That said, it is soft enough to worn next-to-skin. You might want to consider wearing the ULTRA Merino 145, which is our heaviest base layer, and wear the PRO Merino 200 over the top as a mid layer.
