Service is defined as the action of helping or doing work for someone: work done or help provided especially for the public or for a person or organization.

Our great nation is built on the foundation of selflessness, courage and sacrifice of those great men and women who have answered the call to serve. Those who get up every day to lace up their boots and put on their uniforms in service to their communities, states and country.

In honor of this service and sacrifice, in 2020 KUIU launched its Veteran and First Responders Nonprofit Partnership Program. It was designed to create a platform where we could recognize and give back to our military, veterans, law enforcement, first responders, and Gold Star Families by providing funding and support through a multitude of 501-c3 partners.

This Memorial Day, we remember that our enduring freedom is owed to those fearless warfighters who served and paid the ultimate sacrifice by taking the fight to our nation’s enemies and our Gold Star families that carry the burden of that loss with them every day.

Over the last five years, KUIU has partnered with some of the industry’s best outfitters and corporate sponsors to provide all-inclusive hunt packages to recipients selected by our non-profit partners. In 2024 we conducted five different hunts ranging across the US and Mexico with some of our country’s finest, and these are their stories.
