"Great quality! Definitely built to withstand the elements can wait to put them to use this hunting season I live in the Pacific Northwest and hunt the coastal regions on Washington and Oregon these where exactly what I was looking for in a outer layer waterproof pant I own multiple kuiu outfits each has there strong points and as far as cold wet timber and thick vegetation high mountain bush hunting goes these are a no brainer"

"Great pants. Spent 4 days in the rain on a caribou hunt and they held up as expected and I stayed dry. They do need a button or something at the ankle cuff so they stay zipped down while walking. Would have gave 5 star if that wasn't an issue."

"Thunderstorm blew our camp apart but kept me dry as I picked up the pieces. Great weight, makes being out in the rain a lot less miserable. Narrower around the waist than I expected, I usually buy 36”, but that could just be me. Excellent pants though. Great length as always with the tall."

"Shell pants with the greatest fit, excellent ventilation, superb pockets, smooth zippers and built out of very durable materials. Had an issue with a seam tape, but received excellent help from the Kuiu team."

Unpacked - looks good - miss loops for suspenders.

"I have just unpacked them - looking forward to the real test stalking the Scottish highlands in November. A few comments so far: Normally order KUIU trusers 34" wide and 36" long These are Large and 37" and has a fine fit. Waist is fine fit - but I find the cut a bit wide on the hips - strangely wide actually. Rain gear should not have a snug fit - but anyway. Not a big problem - just odd. I miss loops for suspenders. In my view all raingear trousers should have loops for suspenders. Think raingear trousers should have a bit of a loose fit to help with breathability - and then you can opt for belt or suspenders to keep them up. I find suspenders help breathability more than a belt. And 3 loops for suspenders would not cost a dime to add :-)"

Excellence in design and function

"Angling Outfitter: Durable and waterproof! Kuiu is a must for any angler spending rainy or windy days on the water. Wind proof and waterproof on land or on the water. Also excellent protection from all biting insects. We do not operate without our KUIU and I personally do not get in a boat without it packed. These pants also do not overheat you, making you sweat even when wearing shorts underneath. Thank you for improving upon an already great product. Gold standard!"

Okay but…

"After a spring bear hunt with a buddy of mine, I decided to invest in some solid rain gear. The Yukon jacket fits great and I love it. The pants on the other hand fit weird. Got XL size, but too tight over a pair of light pants. Exchanged for an XXL and the pants are baggy. Oh well they gonna have to work."
