"At 6'4" and 275 lb I needed a 3X even though measurements showed that I was 2x size. My hands were too large for the cuffs on the 2X. Quality is good, fitment is good and customer service is beyond excellent. 10/10 would buy again"

Yukon rain jacket

"Sleeves in the lower arms are far too tight to wear layers. Seal at the wrist too tight to take the jacket off without turning the sleeve inside out. Fit in body and shoulders was good. I’ll order another set of Chugach. Hopefully these have been redesigned with too tight of sleeves."

Farmer boy wrists

"It’s entirely reliable even in the torrential downpours of early April, I’ve spent a number of days exploring the reliability of the latest gear drone tidewe-guide gear and this Yukon is the ticket that tells the rain and wind your ass is grass and I’m the lawnmower, even so the cuffs need to be pre stretched in order for the sleeves to slip off of your wrists otherwise they get stuck after a good sweat and absolutely nothing will slip under the cuffs like a much needed down layer undergarment that insulates your arms and that’s if you have larger farmer boy wrists."

Seems Like A Great Waterproof Shell

"This shell is one of the most well built & well thought out jackets I've ever seen and it appears to be rugged as hell. It's a little noisy, but not bad like some of those Gore-Tex Pro potato chip bag sounding shells. I ordered a Sitka Downpour for $400 at the same time and although more quiet, it's not as heavy duty as the Yukon TR. It seemed thin & flimsy by comparison for the money. The XXL fit me well (true to size), but I went with the 3XL in order to get a RAB Electron Pro down jacket underneath. I can't wait to test it out in late October this year."

Totally dry with a few quirks

"First, let me say that as advertised the coat is completely and totally waterproof. I wore it for more than a week in Alaska, where it rained every day and walked through wet brush every day, and never once got wet. The problem that I had was that the cuffs are obscenely tight and nearly impossible to get the coat on or off over wet hands. The other small quirk is that the coat itself is not warm at all. In fact, it almost conducts the cold a little bit and it’s not very windproof. So it’s clearly meant to be worn with the appropriate amount of base layers to stay warm which I did, but I would go from walking up a mountain side and sweating and wet to having to sit for a long time and glass. So trying to take the coat off when it was wet to change out base layers on or off was a real chore. I’m assuming they make the cuffs that tight to keep the water out, but they are too tight. The only other little quirk is it would be nice if the front pockets had some fleece lining. Again, I’m sure they didn’t do that to keep it from getting wet, but it would’ve been nice to keep my hands warm without having to pull on gloves every time."

"After returning 80 percent of what I bought, Kuiu sent me larger sizes. (LG to XL) I thought they sizes ran small. Thanks Kuiu customer service. Can't wait to try all of them out, including the Yukon TR Rain Jacket."

"Really love this heavy duty rain coat. I have the women's lighter rain coat but wanted this one for moose hunting. It is a bit big for me but I like that it goes down my thighs a bit and can go over warmer layers."

"I ordered size large and it was way too small. I tried to return the items ( pants and jacket ) and there were no xl sizes available until late October. My Alaska moose hunt is in September. I followed the size chart that was suggested."
