Great jacket, except…

"Great jacket, looks good, fits good, except the neoprene sleeve. I struggled to fit my wrists through the tight cuffs. To take off I had to turn the sleeves inside out. Even then, it took considerable effort to pull through. If it wasn’t for the squeeze on my cuffs, I would have been happy with the jacket. Instead, I returned it and purchased the Kutana, which I am very happy with. The Kutana turned out to be the better option for me."

Kuiu Yukon Rain Jacket - Great Purchase!

"Jacket fits well with enough room for other layers below (including a puffy coat). Wore it in a brief rain/snow storm a few weeks at 9K feet and it did very well. Excited to test it fully on Kodiak Island in Alaska in November when hunting sitka blacktail deer!"

Good jacket and pants

"I’m 5’8 &180 lbs and the the large fits good , I really appreciate the attention to details on the wrist cuffs and also I had assumed it would be a louder fabric for the waterproof aspect . I have yet to test its durability but will this summer/fall on a caribou hunt . Reason for 4 starts and not 5 is more of a company complaint than product one . 1 . For the cost make it here in America 2. You named the company and half the catalog after places in Alaska ( which is awesome ! ) please put a retail location in anchorage or Fairbanks it would crush 3. The targeting adds on social media definitely are working but when I go to order the things I want and are advertised are out of stock . I’ve gotten adds where every product on the add was and had been out of stock for months and it’s discouraging"

Yukon Jacket and pants

"Fits well, I am looking forward to trying the set out this fall. Product is built well, this could be the last set of rain gear that I own."

Yukon rain jacket

"It appears to be very well made. It might be a run small. I ordered an xxl, a size larger than I normally wear. I’m 6’4” 235. I got the xxl it so I could layer underneath."

Robert W. (5/5)

Sleeve elastic way too tight

"The wrist elastic on the sleeves is so tight that I can barely fit my hands through them. Very uncomfortable (unless I’m missing some way of adjusting it?)"

Yukon TR - Almost Perfect

"Almost the perfect rain jacket. Two additional features would make this the perfect rain jacket - 1. Rain cuffs are so tight that no air moves through them, therefore longer pit-zips down the arm length would allow for greater heat removal. 2. The primary zipper needs to be a two-way zipper. This would make answering nature’s call possible without fully unzipping the jacket."

Gregory S. (4/5)

Doesn’t fit great as an outer layer with other layers

"Coat and pants I bought are too small but I can’t return them because they don’t have xl in either in stock and at the sale price I bought mine for"

Stephen R. (3/5)

Small fit.

"Cuffs need work. Can barely fit hand through the cuff gasket. Forearms are narrow."

Chris M. (3/5)

Comfortable and lightweight jacket

"Nicest rain jacket I’ve ever bought. We will see how well it holds up, but looks and feels great."

Q&A

Would this jacket be compatible with a ski helmet? Looking at this jacket for multi use ski/hunting. Thanks in advance.
Smaller hemets would likely work, but might be a little tight. The Kutana Gale Force Hooded Jacket has a larger hood that is specifically designed to be paired with helmets
I would just like to know how waterproof this truly is. I live in florida and the rain here is always intense downpours and I hike a lot. how long does it take for this jacket to wet out?
The Yukon TR is a great jacket for your needs! It was specifically designed for moose hunts in Alaska where it might be raining every single day and you will need to wear the gear constantly. It is my go-to option if there will be heavy rain/storms!
