Nice fall outer layer

"Haven’t worn it in the field yet, but should be a great outer layer for late fall days. fit is good- room for layering up to a lightweight down underneath yet not super loose without. Long enough to cover my lower back when sitting/kneeling. I love all the pockets."

A winner!

"Comfortable and super functional jacket, good sizing for layering under. Love all the zippered pockets, cinching at the hem and around the hood, armpit venting zipper and the design of the collar+hood (ingenious!). I'm a cold weather wimp so read this review with that in mind. Wore it on a rainy, chilly day in Helsinki (walking tour, ~55 degrees) over a couple of layers (thin merino base+fleece mid-layer) and stayed warm. When the wind kicked up, I did start to get a bit chilled though. Next, wore it hiking in northern Finland (~45 degrees). Was on the move most of the time - stayed warm with 2 base layers and a mid-layer fleece under but didn't get overheated because I could adjust zippers and hood as needed. My one gripe is the sleeves are way too long for me but you can cinch the cuff with the velcro tabs so it doesn't slide down over your hand."

It’s just not the Women's Guide DCS Jacket

"I purchased the Women's Guide DCS Jacket in ash a few years ago. I lost a lot of weight and wanted to get it in a smaller size. The jacket is great but it’s just not the Guide DCS. If you are looking for a lighter weight jacket that is a multitool this is your jacket."
