Reviews

The Swiss Army Knife of packs!

"I wanted a day pack, but also wanted a pack for my 13 year old, that would be comfy and carry a pile of gear!! He’s an animal! He’s got two deer and we got an elk already, and the pack has been absolutely perfect for chucking all my optics and tripods in, after getting an animal..for him to carry down! While our packs have all the meat. We can’t believe how perfect it has been!!"

4 stars

"Ive always rated kuiu 5 stars but what were they thinking when designing the top opening of the main compartment of this bag? Love everything about the bag but this. For kuiu to not go with full zip top opening was a bad idea."

— Tim H. (4/5)

One size isn’t working

"The pack has excellent overall quality. Love the Valo pattern. The one size isn’t the best and doesn’t quite fit my torso. A better conceived rifle and bow sling would be awesome."

— Walter L. (3/5)

Elk pack!

"My last elk pack’s main zipper broke after 10 years and this new pack has not disappointed! It rides a little higher than my last, which is preferred and has plenty of room. Git ya one!"

— Scott B. (5/5)

Mule Deer Scouting Trip

"I just used the pack for a mule deer scouting trip. I found it to be very comfortable and it carried my spotting scope and related gear extremely well. The pockets on the hip belt and water bottle pouches were easy to reach and use which is much more than I can say about my previous pack. My only concern is how the big pouch next to the frame will do in rainy conditions, but that shouldn’t be a big deal. I do wish there was another external zippered compartment or two as the compartments inside of the big storage area can be a bit of a pain to access if that compartment is full of gear."

— Eric C. (5/5)

Well built

"Was able to handle around 40lbs of elk meat and the skull and rack strapped to the top while I walked out. Not my 6000 cubic inch frame pack from KUIU but it handle everything I threw at it."

— Andrew B. (5/5)

Just buy it

"Love this my husband uses it for NRL matches it fits all of his gear and has great pockets for everything he needs"

— Savana W. (5/5)

Honest Review

"So far the bag has been great. Only option/upgrade I wish it had would be for it to have a full open zipper instead of two independent zippers to access main pocket. Other than that great item."

— James L. (5/5)

Well thought out

"Great pack! I make my living wearing my day pack, basically year-round, and this was definitely the right choice"

— Nick T. (5/5)

Great pack

"Love the Pack, good quality and plenty of room for what I need."

— John W. (5/5)

Q&A

Could this pack work as a personal item on an airline, or is it too big to fit under the seat in front of my seat?
The length is a bit long but it could still work as long as it isn't full. If it's full, the pack will be to large.
Looking for a carry on pack for European travel. Wondering if this will work? I understand European airlines are fussy about carry on bags? Thanks for any input.
The dimension of the Venture Divide 3000 are: Venture Divide 3000 22.5” Height x 12.75” Width x 11.5” Depth ***With the cinch open, the bag height extends to 33.75” You'll want to check the airline regulations to see if this will qualify as a carry on.
Could this be used to pack out a quartered whitetail deer?
It depends on the size of the deer, but it's likely too small to pack out most quartered whitetails.
Will the load hauler work with the Venture Divide Series
The Pack Load Hauler is not compatible with the Venture Divide series packs
