"I got this pack to use as a hybrid travel pack and trail pack for a hiking trip to Patagonia. It works perfectly. I love the combination of pockets - for travel everything is handy. For the trail, snacks and water available without taking the pack off. Fit is customizable and I had to stretch it out a bit to make it work, but once adjusted it is rock solid. ventilation is great for long treks. The only thing I would adjust is to make the shoulder strap slightly wider. On 12 mile days, those felt like the only improvement I could suggest. Also love the pass through feature - looking forward to using that for a rifle this fall."

"It's missing an integrated orange rain cover to protect the bag when it rains during a hunt, and a lower pocket for the rifle stock when carrying the rifle in the bag. Otherwise, it's an excellent hunting backpack."

- Polycarbonate frame sheet with dual aluminum stays. Question; How are the stays fixed to the pack and are they curved to fit your back
- Yes the stays are curved to fit you back and there is a velcro opening and a webbing tab over the top of the stays. The webbing tabs can be pulled open and the stays can slide out
- Does this pack have a felt lined pocket at the top like the Divide 3000? I see no mention of that in the description.

- Does this pack come with the straps shown to secure a rifle in the divide part?
- This doesn't come with the Quick Draw Gun Holder shown in the picture; that needs to be purchased separately.
