"Wore these for the first time during a 10 mile hike in Northern AZ. Great cushioning where you need it, and no blisters. They're expensive, but in this case you get what you pay for. 👍"
Good socks
"Good sock, not as durable as I would expect from Kuiu. The wool blend is wearing more aggressively after 14 days of wearing them than I would’ve thought. They also have special instructions telling you not to dry them in the dryer regardless of heat. However, most other high end brands with wool socks for snowboarding, skiing, hiking and hunting do allow tumble dry. Not sure if I would recommend these over other brands, especially due to the care instructions. (Size 10. 5, L perfect fit)"

"Great socks, wicks moisture well and if you wore cotton spcks the smell after hunting or fishing all day is. . . You know just leave then. Outside. . Merino wool socks =dry,, comfortable and definitely don't stink after a long day!!!"

"These are my favorite everyday sock, my feet sweat all the time even in vented tennis shoes. . I've tried several different sock brands and these Kuiu ultra merino crew sock have been the absolute best at wicking away the sweat and keeps my feet dry all day. Hoping Kuiu will start making below the ankle ultra merino sock for the summer time."
Nice and Warm
"I have used the socks a fair amount of times now. They are comfortable and warm. I live on a cattle ranch in Central Montana, I have tested them in 22 below in quality leather boots the socks performed well. Over the years I have purchased cloths and gear from KUIU, all of it is high quality. Along with working on the ranch and all kinds of hunting all of my KUIU stuff holds up well in rugged conditions."

- Our Ultra Merino Crew sock and Ultra Merino Over the Calf socks will the best warmest options.
- I wear 11.5 wide boots...will L sox of this model fit or do I go XL. Need a size reference please.
- Preference would be to go XL since they shrink a bit in the wash.
