"I am a full time offshore sportfishing captain , for the last 3 years I have worn these shorts daily. I put these shorts and pants through the test. The 7 inch inseams are perfect for day to day, classic look and pair well with a polo style shirt or you can pair it with the Gila LS hoodie for the ultimate offshore comfort and sun protection. I can’t say enough for these pants and the rest of my KUIU gear that I wear everyday. Fit is true to size . Best hot weather short in the industry in my experience and I’ve worn them all."

Great for Thicker Legs and Larger Butt

"I'm 6' 5" and 270lbs. I wear a 42 waist and have a good size booty and thicker thighs. These shorts are one of few quality brands that fit me well and are comfortable (not restrictive). The fabric is soft and flexible but tough. I wish the pocket on the right leg was just a long narrow slip-in cell phone pocket instead of a large zipper pocket which my phone turns sideways in but that's not a deal-breaker. Otherwise, these are awesome."

Good Shorts Overall

"Overall, pretty good pair of shorts. The criticism I have are things that bother me, they may not bother other customers. The right side pocket with an inside zipper pocket is where I keep my cell phone so it doesn’t flop around. It’s very tight and hard to get a hand into. I think the side cargo pockets could use a better design. One that has an external cell phone pocket that is easy to access with one hand, yet securely holds the phone. I still love the shorts, that’s why I have three pairs. The newest pair I bought has some stitching missing on one of the corners of the pockets, so I’ll be calling customer service about that soon."

Ok but back pockets too tight fir a wallet width wise

"I really like the shorts other than the ba k pocket flaps. I have what would be considered a normal size wallet but with the width of the pocket and the flaps sewon on the edges over the pocket its almost impossible to get your wallet in or out of them. Its an annoying enough feature that I would not purchase another pair"

I’m usually a 36” waist

"I’m usually a 36” waist and order a pair of these shorts in 36”. They ran a little small and returned and exchange for 38” waist. The 38” fit much better. I do like the fit and look of these shorts for dove season in Texas with the extreme late afternoon heat."

Tiburon Fabric on shorts and shirts too heavy

"The Tiburon fabric is too heavy for hot weather, very disappointed in the Tiburon shorts and shirt. Fortunately after seeing this disaster, I had time to purchase Sitka shorts with a lighter fabric and Poncho shirts before I head off on safari to Tanzania."
