Toasty

"Fits great, haven’t got to use yet but I am certain my hands will stay warm"

Warm and function gear in sub-zero

"Excellent performance and functionality with super high quality, which is what I expect from KUIU gear. Great addition to their Super Down Parka/ Pants (Pro or Arktuk) for sub-zero temps adventure/hunting."

Anthony K. (5/5)

Super Down PRO Glassing Glomitt

"This was the singular most important piece of gear I had in mid-December 2025. The weather had turned to sub-zero temps and snowing. I was archery deer hunting and the day was nearing the end of legal shooting hour, when my shot was presented. I was able to range find my buck with my Glomitts on and as he entered my shooting zone, I was able to easily pull them off and having my fingerless gloves and release aid inside warm and ready. Made a 72 yard pin point shot because I was warm and ready. Thanks KUIU. . ."

Cold hands? Get these gloves

"I bought these for late season deer hunting in Illinois. Tried them out for the first time this past Saturday. Hi temperature was about 27 degrees. I was able to pack them away on my walk into the woods, and then pull them out once I started cooling down. They worked great. These gloves are the second item I have purchased from Kuiu. I also have the brimmed Kenai hat in blaze orange. Love of warm and packable the Kuiu gear is!"

Joe C. (5/5)

love these gloves

"These are great gloves for riding the tractor when throwing snow and the termperature is below 20. Probably great for hunting also when it's really cold. lol"

Brian O. (5/5)

Just Right

"Used these as a packable outer glove for sitting in the stand late season rifle whitetail hunting. Put them over my merino liners when I got to my stand and they were perfect all day in 20 degree windy weather. You can roll one up, put it in the other, roll both and stuff them in a pack pocket for a nalgene bottle. Highly recommend."

Gloves in a Global Market

"I rated them OK above but couldn’t really make a judgement; they were too big (M) to be of any use and S wasn’t available. What UK consumers should know is that KUIU is a global operation: gloves designed in Canada (or USA?), made in China, with the distribution end of the business in Ireland. Maybe that is why there is an exorbitant delivery charge, and I couldn’t cancel the order before delivery. If you are not sure you absolutely want them, and they are right for you, don’t order them in the first place."

Kevin W. (3/5)

Too many extra charges!!

"Your products are great but unfortunately this will be the last product I will buy! Being in Canada the duty, tariff, delivery charges so NOT worth it!! Live and learn!!"

Marian M. (5/5)

No more cold hands

"Wear over a light pair of gloves for sitting or glassing. Have Yet to get cold hands even during Minnesota’s Muzzleloader season. Work Great and are really light weight!"

Mitchell E. (5/5)

Like a sleeping bag for your hands

"I got these for an Alberta mule deer hunt and they helped keep my hands warm while riding and glassing in temps form 25 deg F down to about 7 degrees F. there is a little more dexterity than a regular mitten and i was able to roll my focus wheel on my glasses and spotting scope. you aren't going to shoot witht them and i didn't expect to. the strings on the wrists keep them attached when you need to pull them off to do tasks that require manual dexterity. Throw a hand warmer in them to rewarm chilled hands, but be sure to wipe off any moisture since that tends to make the fabric hard to slip on. Definately a good tool for Cold weather hunting. ."

Q&A

Do both hands have the pointer finger shooter system where you don’t have to take your gloves off to shoot?
Yes, both index fingers will have a slit to slide your finger out
Can the right hand trigger finger come out of the glove via an opening at the knuckle?
Yes, the Super Down Pro Glassing Glommits will have a slit in the index fingers to allow your finger to be used for shooting or digiscoping.
My son will be student teaching in Bethel Alaska for 2 months in January-March. Temperatures go way below 0⁰ F. Which of your 2 Glommits would be the better choice for those temperatures.
For the most warmth, we recommend the Super Down PRO Glassing Glomitt. However, if they will be used in any active or wet conditions, the Northstar Glomitt would be the best choice.
