Longtime

"I hunt the wheels off all of your gear. I wouldn’t say it’s why I’m successful, but I can say it makes me stay longer and hunt harder. From the socks up."

Bad ass bag

"Very nice sleeping bag. Light and warm. Perfect for the toughest conditions."

Impressed

"First time having to spike camp on a hunt. I was really skeptical when I received the bag… small, lightweight, compact. I thought, there’s no way this’ll keep me warm. I was dead wrong. That bag is bad a$$. I can’t wait to use it again."

Ordered the 15F bag prior

"Ordered the 15F bag prior to a Kodiak, AK alpine backpack hunt in late Oct. I know most people would opt for a synthetic bag for a hunt like Kodiak, given the excessively wet environment, but synthetics are heavy and bulky, and I’ve had good luck with other treated down items. I’m 5’10” with an average frame, and the fit of the “regular” was great (plenty long and roomy enough, but not excessively baggy). I debated between the 15F and 0F bags, but like most bags, the weight difference is significant. So I opted for the 15F bag, assuming I could sleep in my down layers if needed, but that never proved necessary, even on the nights that dropped below freezing. I rarely slept in more than my base layers and a fleece top, and there were nights where I had to unzip the bag to dump some heat. We got a lot of rain and snow, and even on the few days we didn’t get moisture, the humidity level was high (especially at night), and it rarely got sunny or warm enough to completely dry anything during the day. However, the bag held its loft throughout the entire hunt, even when damp, with no noticeable drop in insulating ability. The bag even did a great job pulling and evaporating moisture from my body on those nights I had to crawl in with wet base layers (which is really the only time you could get anything to dry). The warmth to weight ratio of the bag is as good as you’ll find anywhere. I don’t know how the down treatment will hold up long term, but I have been very pleased with the bag so far!"
