"I have a number of KUIU products to include backpacks and have been waiting for a good hip pack. This one definitely fits the bill. I would like a few more accessory attachment points but I am loving it nonetheless. Got a bow hunt out last weekend and the hip pack with the bino harness was perfect for the day hunt. I look forward to many more hunts with this!"
"Love this option for moving fast and quiet thru heavy timber while bowhunting elk. Can carry all my essentials for the day comfortably, but duck through tight spots silently. Can also attach a holster with the strap and clip on the waist belt for bear country. This one is a home run"
"Great pack for mobile hunting in the southern appalachians. I’ve tried lots of different packs, and none even compare to this when moving through thick cover with a day’s worth of hunting gear. It is so much easier to move through cover with nothing on my back. I found that the hip pouch can easily hold a pair of 8x42 binos, so no need for a bino harness. You also stay a lot cooler without a pack on your back. I am super happy with this pack for the kind hunting I do. I spent a couple days hunting with my saddle as well, and the platform and stick easily strap onto the pack. The setup was the quietest I have used, with no rattling or clanging. This was a well thought out piece of gear."
"I've been searching for a pack to free up my chest area for climbing in and out of hang-on stands using climbing sticks. Inevitably, something would get caught and at my age I need to limit risks. This pack, coupled with the bottle holder to hold my thermos, really fits the bill. While pricey, it's loaded with loops and straps to carry my rattling horns firmly and out of the way in addition to other items I carry. I also like the feature to strap it to the tree so I can do so at a comfortable height for easy access to my gear. Looking forward to using it this archery season."
"Awesome pack . I travel 9-13 miles a day during a 8 week hunting season and this is the most comfortable pack I ever owned. Straps are thin enough so they don’t interfere with shouldering my rifle."
"Although I have not field tested it yet, I believe it’s going to be everything I was hoping for. Went over it with the gear I want to use in it for the early archery season. With all the storage compartments and main storage area it’s definitely going to work for my needs. Thanks Kuiu for another great product."
"Upgrade pack for hunting. Have not had a chance to use it yet. So far, it seems to be well built and fits well. Will know more this fall."
"Pros: - Lots of configurations. - Quality build. - Right size for a day hunt. Cons: - Expensive. - Why no water holder? It's almost a 5, I don't like giving 5s but if I did, this would probably get one."
"Very comfortable, nice quality, so far love Everton about it. . . except the attachment points for the water bottle holder! The are upside down in my opinion. A short hike with a water bottle in it, one side came unhooked and was flopping around. The pack itself is awesome!"
"Awesome pack. Hardly know that I have it on because it carries so well"
Now let's find some gear.
