Good lightweight weather proofing

"I originally sized up to large to be able to layer under, but this made the sleeves too long so I returned for medium. This is a nice lightweight fleece lined jacket, lighter than a north face, but more weather resistant and higher quality. It will layer a peloton 200 and 240 of the same size under it, in the same size. With that layering I think you could run this jacket into the 30s, though it would be better stand alone in spring and early fall. Pit zips would make it next level, but that feature is never on these light jackets for some reason."

Great light weight soft shell option

"I recently bought this for a trip to Iceland with the family. Needed something that was lighter weight then my other Kuiu jackets as Iceland at the time was only about 40 degrees F. I wore this every day with a merino wool shirt underneath and was plenty warm. Literally wore it daily and it rained almost daily in Iceland and this kept me not only warm but dry. Great addition to my Kuiu jacket collection. Like most of my Kuiu products, I'm typically a large with other brands and always size up to XL with Kuiu."

Unimpressed

"Clothing ran small and the company isnt big enough to keep all sizes instock. So they couldnt send out another size. Also not impressed with having to pay return shipping. So long story short I never got to try the gear and I wont give them another chance ever because of the return fee. Plenty of other good gear companies that take care of returns when they dont fit right."

Best softshell ever

"This is one of the best softshell jackets I’ve ever handled. While I haven’t had the chance to use it for long yet—having received it only recently—the few times I’ve worn it, I immediately noticed the above-average fabric quality and undeniable comfort (it blocks the wind far better than expected). It is also highly versatile; the sizing is true to the fit described but allows just enough extra room to wear a light-to-medium down jacket or other layers underneath when needed. In my opinion, the camouflage pattern is incredible; it looks truly spectacular in mountain environments (such as high-altitude meadows and semi-rocky terrain). Naturally, it will take some time to test its long-term durability, but the initial signs are excellent."
