Not Just for Turkey Hunting

"I'm a wildlife photographer and purchased this vest for use out in the field when waiting for subjects to photograph. It is very comfortable to wear while hiking and to use while sitting. Since I'm not using it specifically for turkey hunting, I wish that the two front call pockets had been designed modularly and could be removed and replaced with other pockets more suited to different uses. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars."

Fantastic for Turkey, pheasant of DEER.

"Fantastic piece of kit… The pockets are endless and well placed. The seating system is easily removed, leaving a very lightweight pack. As a professional deer guide, this fits everything I need in an easily accessible and comfortable piece - jump from the truck, throw it on, grab the glass and rifle and go."

Rival deer hunting vest

"Planning on using the vest for deer hunting. Stores everything I normally take to the stand. The backpack is plenty large enough to hold my muddy ozonics plus any any cold weather gear I might need for the winter."

Turkey vest

"Fits great. Haven’t used it in the woods yet but I’m certain it will make hunting much more comfortable and keep my calls easily accessible."

Kuiu vs Sleeping Indian wool for a long season ahead

"As you can tell from all my orders I am going 100 percent Kuiu from Sleeping Indian. I hunt about 100 days a year and will see how Kuiu takes me all through the seasons! Best u bought 2 will be tested in April for gobbler season!! Thanks"

— Richard P. (5/5)

Minor modifications

"Everything was great about the vest. The only modification I've made so far is to cover up the velcro that holds the pad up and replaced it with magnets and stealth strip."

— Tyler R. (4/5)

Well built/Innovative—will need to carry

"Well built/Innovative—will need to carry an accessory seat pad for longer sits. A sternum strap would be useful. Thx for the decoy bag."

Q&A

I typically wear a size large in most KUIU items. Outer layers and jackets I’ll wear an XL so I can layer underneath. What size Turkey jacket do you recommends?
You will want to select XL/XXL for the Rival Turkey Vest if your outer layers are an XL
