"The vest is great, lightweight, good pockets, well thought out layout. Really pretty happy with it. 4 stars cause the pad while good for how it works with the vest, was not enough cushion for my preference. If you were only sitting for 30 min or so it would be fine. Also the back support is really good, seemed like a gimmick till I tried it and it really does work."

Very good turkey vest!

"I have only had a chance to use this once so far so I am still getting used to it. I like the fit. The only thing I would like to see improved is one handed (or at least minimal) operation of pockets and pouches. While sitting it’s hard to use the zippers without a substantial amount of movement. Again, it may just be me getting used to it. Overall, I’m very happy and recommend this product!"

Great product

"Lightweight purpose built vest. I have gotten rid of a very old turkey vest that I used for years and I am glad to replace it with this one. I really like the storage capabilities. I do not utilize the hydration bladder feature at this time because I like to use a nalgene water bottle. As someone who hunts turkeys a lot of days of the season, I wish these vests had a nalgene bottle feature on the side! The seat is removable, the seat kept coming off of the strap it was connected to. I had to tie paracord through it to keep it from being lost. I wear a kuiu Bino harness while I am hunting, I wouldn’t want to wear any of the sidecar features while wearing this vest as I think they would interfere with it. Vest is a great product!"

"Waited a while to order the vest to see how others reviewed it. Got it for season this year and loved it. All the pockets and slots for calls. The back pack and included decoy/haul out bag are a plus. Fits close to your body so it does not flop around like every other turkey vest I’ve had. Can’t wait until next turkey season to use it again."

Nice, but…

"I’ve worn this vest a half dozen times and generally like it. It fits well and has plenty of pockets for various calls. But…. The slot for the box call is too short for a regular sized meateater or Quaker box call. Not sure what sized box call was used to design this vest but the flap does not close. The foot straps are nice if you need them for support. I found them hard to get out of in any type of hurry. I only used them once and found them unnecessary. Glad they can be removed."

Great turkey vest.

"Great Turkey vest has plenty of pockets for all my calls and is comfortable. Has extra storage in the back and a spot for hydration bladder which I love. The only thing right off the bat I’d say needs changed is where the hydration tube comes out of the vest. It needs to be 2 options left and right. Current configuration is on the right only which gets in the way of right handed shooters. If vest had a left or right option like Eberlstock backpacks it would be better for all where the tube wouldn’t be in the shooters way. I love the retractable pad that’s a great design feature."

"Pro’s - very Lightweight, practical Cons - not sufficiently rugged. Box call pocket too small. No practical space for strikers. Lacks features that less expensive vests usually have. Maybe a bit too minimalist."

"This vest works good for carrying all your calls. The back support works alot better than I thought it would. You’ll definitely need to carry your chalk with you because the pocket for your box call will rub all your chalk off. It’s a little pricey but all the pockets and extra pockets are worth the money in my opinion."

Q&A

Will it fit a double handle box call
It is not designed for a double handle call, you could flip it and run both handles out of the top, but you will not be able to utilize the sleeve to keep the paddle quiet
