Solid upgrade from the venture 2300
"I’ve only worn it for about 20 miles of hiking with light loads. It fits my body really well and moves with me well. Seems to carry weight well. Super comfortable pack and a great upgrade from my old venture 2300. Not sure how well it will do with heavier loads, but I suspect it will handle the weight well. Noticeably lighter than the venture 2300. I love the straps and buckles and how they can be reconfigured. Awesome day pack that you could squeeze a couple days into if you pack light."

Q&A
- Does the large fit a different torso length?
- The Large is about 2" taller and is designed for people over 5'10"
- Can you pull out the frame if it's not wanted like you could on the venture 2300. I know it will lose its shape but not worried about that.
- It is technically possible, but it will be challenging to put the frame back in and it might cause damage to the frame or bag when attempting to do so which would not fall within our warranty policy
- The material this pack is made from sounds durable but how quiet is it. We pack in to places that have lots of brush and also hunt field edges with corn. I need absolute quiet if possible
- The Ranger 2200 is a very durable pack and the face fabric is pretty quiet, but if you are looking for an extremely quiet pack we would steer you toward the Evolution 1800 or Encounter Divide 2800
- Does this frame disconnect from the pack so we can pack animals out?
- The Ranger 2200 does not separate at the bag and suspension. You will need one of our frame packs like the Pro, Pro LT or Pro Divide that utilize the Carbon Fiber Frame and Pro Suspension
