"This is my 6th Kuiu pack, I also own 4 pro frame kits with various bags for guiding and a venture divide 3000. I. purchased this bag to use for carry on and a bug out bag. It looks very smart and has great internal pockets and ability to carry on the exterior. I will likely run this pack without the waist strap, which was very easy to remove. The Ash is a great neutral colour that fits in well with every day use but also doesn't look out of place on the hill if used for hunting."
Perfect Day Pack
"Bought the Ranger 2200 and I took it on its first trip to Oregon/California. It was perfect! The padded straps, backing, and hip belt made the long hikes very comfortable. It has plenty of storage compartments that are quick and easy to get into while keeping things separate and organized. It also has 2 side pockets for carrying large bottles of water including Nalgene's… I’m looking forward to using it again on my next adventure."
Fits my needs
"I bought the pack to replace my 8 year old badlands pack and I am pleased with how the aluminum frame helps keep the pack centered on my back. It is comfortable with 25lbs hiking elevation and 10 mile distances so far. I plan on using it to scout territory for elk hunting and feel it can carry what I need for two days. The hip belt definitely helps with the heavier loads."

Q&A
- Does the large fit a different torso length?
- The Large is about 2" taller and is designed for people over 5'10"
- Can you pull out the frame if it's not wanted like you could on the venture 2300. I know it will lose its shape but not worried about that.
- It is technically possible, but it will be challenging to put the frame back in and it might cause damage to the frame or bag when attempting to do so which would not fall within our warranty policy
- The material this pack is made from sounds durable but how quiet is it. We pack in to places that have lots of brush and also hunt field edges with corn. I need absolute quiet if possible
- The Ranger 2200 is a very durable pack and the face fabric is pretty quiet, but if you are looking for an extremely quiet pack we would steer you toward the Evolution 1800 or Encounter Divide 2800
- Does this frame disconnect from the pack so we can pack animals out?
- The Ranger 2200 does not separate at the bag and suspension. You will need one of our frame packs like the Pro, Pro LT or Pro Divide that utilize the Carbon Fiber Frame and Pro Suspension
