"The fit on this runs super small, more like a base layer fit. It is a horrible option for any hunting much less Archery. Super restrictive movement, kinda loud, like a plastic liner inside. No chance your going to draw your bow with this thing zipped up because its so stiff and loud. One of the worst Kuiu products I've purchased to date. (and i have a lot of their stuff)"

"The Axis Hybrid lineup is my all time favorite gear to wear. Warm or cold weather i love it. The only thing that bugs me about the Kuiu gear is the pants. They are awesome quality dont get me wrong but the pants dont have enough options of inseam length. I love my axis Hybrid pants however it is annoying that I have to pay to have them hemmed (shortened). Other than that they are awesome and worth the money."

"Ive had this out in rainy + snowy mix,windy conditions with very little layering under and it kept me warm and dry. It fits tight but its an Archery item and is by design. I like the cut on the hood can anchor with release easily."

"I was worried it would not be warm enough but it's actually warmer than I thought. True to their size guide. Works great with layers. Pockets are nice and in good location. Really nice color being that it's "low shine ". Definitely a keeper."

Frigid weather
"I have noticed that KUIU products rated for the coldest temperatures aka ‘frigid’ could be better insulated. I spend most of my time in the Canadian backcountry from September through March and haven’t been completely satisfied with their cold weather gear. At the end of the day, it’s a matter of what you consider cold, for me anything close to -13*F is getting cold. I have yet to find a layering system that can keep me warm on an all day hunt during the coldest of Canadian winters."

- Yes it is water resistant, but it is not waterproof and will not replace a true rain jacket
