"great jacket, nice all around pattern for multiple seasons/areas would not buy it at full price i felt it was reasonable at 40% off size runs true, only real complaint is pockets i really thought there would be more or larger pockets and it needs some on the inside i purchased a large kuiu everyday sweater for underneath and great for whitetail hunting down to 0*C"

Looks great

"Used twice on 47 degree mornings. Bow hunting with a the 120 merino wool shirt and the one weight and a ghillie suit I was warm till I cooled down from the walk in I walk in with just the merino 120 then get dressed to sit. With that said being warm is very subjective, everyone is different I was looking for light weight warm gear so I invested 1$1300 in kuiu gear I’m really no warmer than with two under armor shirts a wind breaker and military surplus wool sweater but I have it now and use all my stuff with other stuff. Seems like NewYork weather is to cold for high priced gear I think western hunters who have chilli mornings and 80 degree days will benefit most from this gear"

Kuiu proximity LT.

"I always fall between size M and L. This jacket fits me great with a medium base layer underneath. Also fits well on its own. The cut of this jacket seems to be between athletic and relaxed and doesn't feel at all restrictive. Im well pleased and looking forward to using this fall. Kuius garments are quality made pieces. Thanks Kuiu."

Quiet, comfy and high quality.

"This jacket def looks and feels the part. Screams quality. I can't wait to use it for a hunt this year and put it to the test. Wind is what gives me that bone chilling get-outa-the-stand feeling and my other garments have helped but just aren't comfortable nor was I wearing matching camo (because the deer care you know)... But I'm a huge fan of everything from Kuiu. I will say, I'm 5 ft 10 and 180lbs and ordered the XL. The large woulda been to small but the XL fits well for sure and I'll be able to later perfectly. My buck went down on the opener this year but future years bucks better beware!"

Windproof liner makes it a little noisy

"The jacket is awesome, and I love the outside finish and the quietness of the outside. However, the wind proof liner makes it just a little bit too noisy for me when drawing my recurve bow. I have the same jacket in the insulated version and it’s more quiet I think because the insulation helps quiet the lighter. Because I hunt with a recurve and most of my shots are at 15 yards or less. I am returning this jacket because it’s too noisy for my purposes. But that is the only reason besides that it’s an awesome jacket. Just order one size up."

The description says this is quiet, but some of the the reviews state it is very noisy.which is accurate?
The Proximity LT Hooded Jacket has a very quiet fleece face fabric and is a great option for early/mid season whitetail hunts!
How does it do in the rain? It is water resistant right?
Yes it is water resistant, but it is not waterproof and will not replace a true rain jacket
