"Pants fit great and have good movement. Suspenders are well built and better than other high end hunting pants I own. Great well built hunting pants

"I love them. I’ve tried them on and they seem really quiet. I like the suspenders I’m a smaller guy and these fit just right. I used the size from the old pair I used to wear that weren’t kuiu. I bought the pants this year and will purchase the jacket next year. Little too much to spend all at once."

Proximity line - prefect for a Moose hunt

"The Proximity line was perfect for a Maine moose hunt. It was very quiet walking thru the woods and warm. When I got hot from walking miles they the woods, the ventilation system in the armpits and trouser pocket areas quickly helped cool me off. My only suggestion, include an option to buy a small packable brush to remove the briars from the clothing."

Two sizes too small!

"Get them big. I looked at the size chart, which steered me to a size 32. Not close. I’m waiting for the 36’s to arrive eagerly. The 32’s were a fantastic item, just didn’t fit. not even close. Kuiu, perhaps address that size chart??"

Proximity pant

"I'm a short guy 5'4" 135lbs and always looking for hunting clothes in smalls. I have a 29" waist line these pants in 30x31 fit great! Just enough room for a heavy layer underneath without a bunch of extra material. I have the proximity jacket which I love and now have a lethal combo of top and bottom. I'm a saddle Hunter in PA and NY plus I'm 70 years old so being really warm and lightweight makes a huge difference for me. Bonus is the suspenders because I like to Go in with my saddle on and with the suspenders I feel no sag or droop."

Q&A

Do you need to size up for layering?
It will depend on how much you plan to layer under it, but it is designed with a looser fit to accommodate layers under it.
How are the proximity insulated pant on burrs?
It has a fleece outer fabric and can collect some burrs
The original listing for the pant detail stated a 33" inseam. I have noticed that under the detail description today, it shows a 34" inseam. Could you confirm the exact inseam length on the pants?
The current size listing is correct; the inseam is 34".
Any plans for these pants in Gunmetal and a short option?
We don't have plans fore that now, but I will send your request to our product development team. We rely heavily on customer feedback when making decisions on updating products.
How is the fit on pants? Should I go up a size for layering?
These are meant to be worn as an outer layer, and are true to size based off of our sizing chart.
I am very interested in the Proximity pant. Just concerned of the inseam. I am 5’6” and my jeans are a 30” inseam. Will these fit or can they be hemmed? Also, my vest and jacket are a grey ghost cammo. What would you recommend. I want to make my purchase right away. Thank you very much, Bobby Maxwell
Given the full-length zipper and snap closure, we recommend any alterations be done by a professional. Rainy Pass (https://rainypass.com/) may be able to help you. The inseam on the pant is 33". As far as pattern or color, you would probably want to consider our solid option Ash to match your existing camo.
