"Not really a lot of insulation or wind proofing. I would not recommend it for North Dakota late season because is not as effective as the advertising indicated. I was looking for a really good windproof jacket with sufficient insulation for temps in the below zero. This simply is not it."

"Great jacket, runs small. I would normally be a 2xl but with this had to return the 3xl for the 4xl. Retains your body heat very well without being baggy or making you sweat. Pockets are large and zipper. Adjustable waist and hood forming are nice. Magnetic hood closure leaves a little to be desired, but all and all great jacket. I would definitely recommend."

"The jacket is nice material and quality, however the warmth of this garment is not as mentioned and advertised. To wear it in the coldest weather you have to bundle with 4-5 layers of clothes. I feel this is to sale more garments. Base, mid and outer later should always be enough and it’s not woth this gear. Fit also runs smaller in size. I tried the recommend sizes and couldn’t pull my bow back due to being restricted in movement."

"Great jacket. My wife originally bought my first jacket. At first I thought thanks . . . but I'll take care of my hunting clothing purchases. Since then I have purchased tow more in camo colors. They are my workhorse go to jackets whether bow hunting or early morning ranch rides in a side x side. Keep making the great gear"

- Can I buy the hood for this jacket? I was given this as a gift but the hood was not with it.
- We unfortunately do not stock extra hoods at this time, but would be happy to pass this along the team so that they are aware there is interest!
- I purchased a size xl proximity jacket and feel like it's a bit too big for me. I'm 5'11" 200 and it's just a bit baggy in the belly area and a bit long. I feel like it will get in the way unless I have 2 sweatshirts underneath. if I wash with hot water and dry with heat will it shrink at all or do I need to exchange for a large?
- I would recommend purchasing the Large to compare the two side by side and return whichever does not fit best within our 60 day return window. If the Large is too small then you could try shrinking the XL, but I would not recommend that as the first option.
- What would be a good mid layer to wear under this, that could also be used as an outer layer in early to mid season northeast tree stand hunting?

- This can be machine washed in cold water on a normal cycle, and tumble dried on low heat.
- How high does the collar come up on the face? Is it like the element jacket because I have you to reference. If a collar is to high it effects my anchor with my release aid. I learned the hard way with a different coat.
