Magnetic flap won't hold open

"I haven't gotten to put it through a full hiking field test but from what I've been able to do with it it's well built and I like all the pockets connected to one bigger pack. I also have the modular one when I want specific add ons. The magnetic flap doesn't stick open as advertised, maybe it's just new a stiff and will break in"

Poor quality magnet for bino compartment

"Loved the first chest pack i bought. Super easy and comfortable. But, the second one i ordered for my dad showed to be of lesser quality. The magnet lid for bino compartment barely stays closed. Pops open very easily. Its obvious that the company is cutting corners on some key components here unfortunately."

One stop shop for a harness

"This harness does it all. It has tons of storage. Fits excellent. Very adjustable both the fit to your body as well as the fit to your equipment. The side zippers open wide so it’s easy to access equipment. Spacers in the main pouch help fit any binos large or small. The lid was stiff when I first got it and didn’t stay open with the magnets at first. After a couple of days use it loosened up and now stay open flawlessly. Couldn’t be happier"

Needs different lid design

"This bino case is the best bino case that I have tried. I love the pockets and the ease of use. It is very comfortable to wear and use. The only reason that it does not get five stars is the lid. The lid is flimsy and rarely closes properly which allows rain water and dust to get in."

Q&A

How well does a sidearm chest holster fit underneath this pack?
We unfortunately do not make a holster attachment at this time, but we would be happy to inform the team that there is interest so we can hopefully see one down the line!
Will the magnets in the Pro Chest Pack affect electronics such as a kestrel, phone, InReach, or rangefinders? Other magnetic bino harnesses on the market have been known to do so.
No they are not strong enough to effect electronics
The description for the Pro Chest Pack states: "The bottom of the pouch features an innovative Rail-Lock track connection system for the ammo holder and future accessories." This rail-Lock system prohibits any other form of non-Kuiu device attachment. I hope these future Kuiu accessories will include a MOLLE panel, a realistic gun holster or attachment device, and other forms of vital outdoor equipment attachment. Does Kuiu plan to create these accessories that use the Rail-Lock track connection system?
We have not been informed of additional accessories coming out, but we would be happy to notify the team that there is interest!

Is there any way to put bino straps on the chest pack like comes with the G3? In other words, is there any way to attach the binos to the chest pack?
The Pro Chest Pack unfortunately does not offer bino straps like the Pro G3 does
