Right-sized, Well Thought Out, Excellent

"Excellent. Comfortable and well thought-out. Side pocket fit phone, which was easy to consistently pull out to check maps, take photos, etc. Same thing for range finder on the other side. Easily accessed my wind checker, mouth calls, and other small items (snacks!) in other pockets. Was able to attach my G19 to the bottom with an AGC holster. Purchased on sale, but worth it if you have the dough at retail price."

Pro Chest Pack

"Fits very well. Previously, I had the Pro Bino Rangefinder set, which was great, but the bino, phone and rangefinder compartments were separate, and at the time, great, but having them all connected is much easier. Side note, this Ash color model bino lid fits secures perfectly. I recently ordered the Valo color, and the lid doesn't fit well. I reached out to KUIU at day 33ish (30-day warranty), and they accepted my request, so I'm sending it back for one, where it's lid secures better. So far, good customer service."

"Overall I'm Very Satisfied with the Pro Chest Pack. I bought the Vendini Holster to carry my Handgun, and it all fits super great and is very comfortable. The Pro Pack is very spacious, has lots of pockets and is very well thought out. The Magnet that holds the Binocular compartment closed is much stronger then my Amazon special Bino Pack that I've been running for the last few years. The rail lock system for under attachment options is sweet and gives you even more options! I definitely recommend it!"

"I have always had neck fatigue with Bino holders. Not with this one. I absolutely love this new piece of gear. The added pockets are easy to zip open and closed unlike most others on the market. I have literally been through almost every one of them. The front pocket can be left open and I can slide my phone in and out while navigating and checking my ONX solving yet another problem. The other smaller pockets add spots for windchecker or a quick spot to put my diaphragm while huffing and puffing up a steep incline while elk hunting. Basically my new favorite piece of gear."

"Truthfully, I didn't really want to like this as wearing one of these chest rigs is not something I have done over the decades of me being on the hill. But I was curious to see what it was like. This is an excellent bit of kit that wears very well. It is very comfortable and unobtrusive to wear and I really like the fact that it has now become a 'grab bag' with all my essential kit in it. "To early to tell, season for me is a couple months away, but I tried it on and I like the fit, but it doesn’t have any connection links to the binoculars from the unit or straps. How does one secure it? The bino carrier has them that I purchased in the past from KUIU."

Can it be cleaned in a washer?
You will want to wash it in a tub or bucket, but not a washing machine
How well does a sidearm chest holster fit underneath this pack?
We unfortunately do not make a holster attachment at this time, but we would be happy to inform the team that there is interest so we can hopefully see one down the line!
Will the magnets in the Pro Chest Pack affect electronics such as a kestrel, phone, InReach, or rangefinders? Other magnetic bino harnesses on the market have been known to do so.
No they are not strong enough to effect electronics
The description for the Pro Chest Pack states: "The bottom of the pouch features an innovative Rail-Lock track connection system for the ammo holder and future accessories." This rail-Lock system prohibits any other form of non-Kuiu device attachment. I hope these future Kuiu accessories will include a MOLLE panel, a realistic gun holster or attachment device, and other forms of vital outdoor equipment attachment. Does Kuiu plan to create these accessories that use the Rail-Lock track connection system?
We have not been informed of additional accessories coming out, but we would be happy to notify the team that there is interest!
