Pro brush pants and order

"These pants are great, they do run small, normally a 34, but those were to tight. Kuiu's customer service was outstanding. I hate doing returns and would just put up with them being to tight. But I reached out and it was a simple and very fast order correction, printed the label after going to their website, dropped the tight ones off at UPS and 3 days later had the correct size. these are going to work great against the Texas cactus landscape I will be hunting this winter. would rate them six stars out of five if I could. awesome."

Misleading name

"These are not brush pants. I tried walking through a clear cut pine thicket with briars and got scratched up so bad I had to turn around. I walked through the same thicket a couple earlier with teh old school blue jeans topped with canvas and had zero issues. I only got these knowing they were made of good quality and lighter weight for the summer time scouting in North Florida. Don't get me wrong, they are nice pants and very comfortable, but not a brush pant as advertised. The material may be strong enough to withstand pulls from briars but it does not stop them from entering into the material and carving up your thighs"

No loose to the waist

"I’m 5’11” and weigh 197 lb. The 34-inch waist fits snugly. It is comfortable enough to wear, but there is no extra room. If you tuck in a shirt, the pants feel tight. I usually wear a 32-inch inseam, but the 34-inch inseam is also fine."

Fit and feel nice

"I like the way they feel and they have vents for warm hunts. They dont seem very thick so I am concerned about their briar resistance but wont know until later this fall. Hopefully the front leg zip pockets stay closed because every open pocket seems to fill with grass field seeds/fluff/stalks/random debris ect. Like that suspenders are included as an option."

Husband Likes It!

"My husband is very picky to shop for and he was excited when I got this for him for Father’s Day. Size was good but we exchanged it for 2 sizes bigger so that he could layer it. Material feels pretty good so I’m really hoping he doesn’t get anymore thorns stuck in his pants."

Bourbon - Brush Pant

"Like the feel , the additional vents are great, we hunt in Mexico mostly hot weather with cool morning so the extra crotch vents are crucial. They hold up well in early and lates season cotton, thickets, and the other rough stuff we run through especially for quail. I find the waist runs big and the pants can pull down without a belt on and buttoned. so started buying the 34. I find the 34 inseam tends to bulk up at the ankles on KUIU pants with boots, the 31 inseam prevents that, I'm 5'11"."

Pretty good.

"Good fit and comfort like all my Kuiu pants. No cell phone pocket in these, but mine does a good job of staying put near the outer leg seam while hiking and moving around. The purported water repellency doesn't exist on my pair. Having inner as well as out zip vents is really nice. I thought these might be a touch warmer/wind resistant than the Attack pant, but it's about the same if not cooler. The little lace hooks inside the cuffs tuck away, which is great because I don't need them for my purposes. I just wanted something more pick resistant than my Attacks and these appear to be that. Glad these are available in Major Brown. Wish the Axis Hybrid came in Major Brown as well, since Ash/green is a color that doesn't exist in the woods when it's cold enough to need the Axis Hybrid pant."

Amazing pants

"I’ve just finished a ten day hunt in Alaska and worn them everyday and they’ve been fantastic in wet, cold, warm, and windy I couldn’t ask for better pants. Please fix the suspended straps as they refuse to stay in the slot."

Jerry C. (5/5)

Extremely durable, flexible, and light weight.

"I’ve been looking for these pants for years. They are lightweight and vented on each side but extremely tough. They fit perfectly. I needed pants for working in the woods, Midwest hardwoods, River bottom country, thorns and briars, hanging treestands and deer season prep work and shed hunting. These are absolutely them. I purposely walked through thorn bushes and kicked around and felt nothing. Nothing poked through and they still were flexible and light. I hung tree stands in the rain and mud and they dried quickly. Durable and light. Absolutely perfect. Can’t wait for shed season in them."

Dante D. (5/5)

Great Brush Pants

"Great pants. Wore them last weekend at my hunting club to go into an are full of briars and the pants preformed perfectly. I was able to put them over my Tiburon shorts for the time I needed them and then back off when done with the briars."

Q&A

Is there a verde pant ?
We have not been informed if or when Verde Pro Brush Pant might return, but we would be happy to notify the development team that there is still interest!
What type of lining do these pants have? Reason: hunting pheasants in 20/30 degree temps, possible snow conditions.
The Pro Brush Pants are not insulated, but have plenty of room to layer with our Zip Off Bottoms under them
How do they do in wet climate?
The PRO Brush Pant is water resistant, so it will shed some water. That said, if you're expecting to be in consistently wet conditions, you might want to consider the Axis Hybrid Pant, which is waterproof.
