"Best brush pants i have ever used. So lightweight and flexible means i can climb hills and fences like nothing. Used in some jaggers but not extensively yet. Worked great. They almost feel silky slippery without being shiny or noisy. Great job Kuiu. I wear a 32” inseam and bought the 30” that fits great. They usually run a little longer."

"I I ordered these for my next hunt. They are perfect perfect thickness. They’re soft quiet the right length I had to order them in a men’s size to get the right inseam. All female options don’t have long enough inseam options and I am 5 ft 9 and I wanted the pant to go over my boot. they’re perfect love the hook on the front to hold down the pant and the option to remove the overalls couldn’t be happier. "Just got back from Ruffed Grouse, Woodcock opener in Minnesota. I would love to give ‘em a 5. Good fit (5) I’m 6’3” 255. Repels water (5). Pockets/vents (5). Clip on front cuff to keep pant from riding up (5). All good then I walked into some thistles. Stinging thistles ouch (1.5)…..but my LL Beans would have waded through them, and to be fair the Beans are cold weather brush pant."

"These pants solve my biggest issues with my Attack pants - durability. The Attack pants are great but they just cant take much hard use without snagging - these pants don’t snag, but they are a bit noisy. Other than the noise, they are awesome pants for scouting, hiking and hunting."

Held up Great Fly Fishing in Backcountry of Idaho

"First Pair was Attack Pants and did not hold up well in Sticker Bushes (aka: Blackberry Bushes). Suggested these are better suited for such terrain. Spent a whole week with these in the backcountry of Idaho Fly Fishing. Great pants, stood up to the terrain, and felt good both on sunny days, raining days, and as a layer under my waders. Will be getting another pair for sure!"

"Pro Brush Pants for true to size. Unlike other brush pants they are flexible, soft material and suspenders are an added bonus. Use to be all Sitka but several years ago have loaded up with Kuiu apparel. Fantastic garments and accessories. That is all I trust now."

Q&A

I bought a pair of pro brush pants and worn them 3 times two washings on light wash with All detergent no perfume. The DRW is gone today as I hunted pheasants in fog not rain with dew on the knee high grass. My attack pants are 2 years old and probably 15 washings and still shed light rain?
You will need to retreat with with Grangers or Nikwax to reapply the DWR as some detergents will remove the DWR
This is a frustrating trend with top shelf hunting clothing companies... Why does Kuiu, and others, make jackets, shirts, and other tops that will fit guys with up to 60" chests, but pants made for stick figures? Does Kuiu's design team really believe all guys are built like funnels? I'm looking for some brush pants for an upcoming hog hunt. I can get a Kuiu jacket in one or two sizes down from largest offered. But need pants in two or three sizes larger than max offered. Make it make sense.
