Great jacket

"Got this as a spring/autumn outer shell and it is extremely thin but warm and has good light rain protection. Got xxl size but im usually an xl and is a touch large on under a t-shirt but is fine if you have a jumper on under it as not too tight. Already have a hoodless peleton jacket for shooting but got this one as a casual wear jacket."

"Honestly I have not used it yet. The shocking thing is after reviews on YouTube I was surprised how thin it is so will be interesting in the Az Elk sept season. I get hot easily so would appear This will work perfect by providing an outer layer that is easily removed and being so thin will fit Easily in my pack without the heavy jacket bulk. I typically wear an xl but ordered an xxl it fits perfect. I’m a solid 5’9 250 but mostly muscle my wife says, I will go with husky!"

Didnt hunt with it yet, but took it on a few cool morning motorcycle rides and was impressed with the warmth for how thin it is and seems to break wind pretty well. 6ft 175lbs athletic fit in medium. Will likely only wear base layers under but enough room for a heated vest if needed. Also, like how the hood does not impede vision."

Q&A

I have the Merino 145 base layer and the axis hybrid. But when I seat in the saddle, after an hour you can feel the cold and wind on your entire body. I am looking for something between the base layer and the hybrid that provide more warm protection. I use large size 5.9’ 180@. Thanks for the suggestions
We recommend adding an insulation layer, like the Super Down ULTRA or Super Down PRO Pant.
