Heads up, it doesn’t work with gloves!

"The rubber cuff and small entry make it very difficult to get hands into the warmer with or without gloves on. Got this for my wife and she already has smaller hands, but it’s difficult for her to get her hands into and out. It is 100% unusable for me. When you push your hands into the warmer, the rubber cuff pushes the sleeve of your garment up onto your forearm, exposing your wrist and radial arteries to the cold. This completely negates the utility of the warmer. I would not buy this item again. If the cuff was wider and did not have the rubber, it would be great. It needs a redesign. I am a die hard kuiu “investor”, but kuiu missed the mark on this warmer."

A bit surprised

"I have bought many, many KUIU products with nearly all meeting or surpassing my expectations. This one surprised me. It is bigger than it needs to be. The only insulation seems to be the pile lining. The cuffs are so restrictive that I can’t get my hands in with any type of gloves on. And the most surprising is that my hands still get cold in it. I think this product was not well thought out and rushed to production to fill out a product line. Very out of character for Kuiu."

Too tight

"I couldn’t get my hand through the opening without using my other hand to help hold the muff. Then once that hand is in, it’s hard to get the other hand inside. I am a woman with small hands and if I am having problems with this I can’t image a man’s hands fitting. Expensive for a product that doesn’t really work. Returned."

Great for small hands

"Well built, waterproof, secure storage pockets and a great feature of being able to open it up to clean or dry it out. The problem I have is large hands, even with thin gloves, make it very difficult to insert them into the muff."

"Great quality, windproof and warm. If you can get your hands in. I have to take my gloves down to base layer and I still struggle a bit. I have far from large hands, too. Would recommend less resistant stretch material at openings. Otherwise excellent."

Tell me it ain’t so

"I had high hopes for the muff given I photograph landscapes in winter. Upon receiving the item I was surprised that I couldn’t insert my bare hands into the muffin let alone if I had a glove on. My hands are not huge. Too small to palm a basketball, so I would be interested in repurchasing it if there was an adjustable opening to the muff. Only one size offered."
