I have only used these

"I have only used these gloves once and they passed the test of keep my hands warm and dry. I used them for waterfowl hunting. Every pair of gloves I have owned that were supposedly waterproof soaked through and difficult to impossible to get hands back in once wet. These gloves allowed for easy on and off even with wet hands. They are generally too bulky for waterfowl hunting and will only be used in extreme conditions. I do intend to bring them on my back country caribou hunting trip this fall."

Nice warm gloves

"Nice warm gloves, I like the grippy palm and fingers. I personally prefer a tight wrist cuff designed to go under the jacket rather than the large cuffs these have to designed to go over the jacket but these do work well. The only reason no 5 stars is that they lack dexterity, hopefully that will improve with more use."

Not a perfect fit

"Ive always wanted these gloves and the last sale I finally bought them. I have numerous other kuiu gloves that all fit great, size medium. Naturally ordering these I ordered a medium. I have about 1 inch of extra room in the fingers leaving the gloves cumbersome and not what I would expect from a $100 pair of gloves. And not a big deal, but I was also disappointed in the black color. I thought they looked great online, but blah in person. They look and feel like my 1990's ski gloves."

"These are real nice gloves, warm durable you put your hand in and you can take it out without the waterproof lining coming out with it. They run large most gloves I take are extra large. This one is a large and fits me. Perfect I’m 59 200 pounds with carpenter hands."

Q&A

Will these work good for late season compound bow hunting? My husband has big hands and can't get a glove that's warm enough in the xxl size. Will they be to big to pull his bow back?
These will be too bulky to use as an archery glove and wouldn't work well to pull his bow back. The Guide X or Axis Glove would be the heaviest weight glove that would also be suitable for bow hunting.
Would I be able to wear my release and shoot my bow while wearing these gloves?
It's too thick and heavy to wear with your release or to shoot. We'd recommend the StrongFleece 220 Glove instead.
