-15° glomitt review

"Overall very impressed with these they’re warm and have great grip. I live and hunt in Alaska and tested them at -15° while on my ATV. With a size medium I had enough room to run a thin set of Moreno wool contact gloves underneath for when more dexterity was required. Recommend adding a pull on the underside of the gauntlet and enlarging the size of the gauntlet to better fit over layers"

Excellent Product and Service

"These are by far the highest quality cold weather gloves I have ever owned. They are exactly as advertised and worth the cost. The customer service notifications were exemplary for both information and status of the delivery."

"Super warm and windproof. True to size."

Kuiubski glove 3 finger.

"Quality ski glove. Dexterity with index finger. Extremely warm. Exterior material & inner grip material is top notch. Will last me a lifetime. Highly recommended glove."

Northstar Glomit

"Quality is excellent. sz. large was roomy enough for light poly liners. Wore in 10 deg. temps while moving. Hands were almost too warm. Will be great for still hunting or from a stand. Trigger finger is a bit too thick for trigger guard but easy enough to drop a glove to shoot. should be able to shoot my trigger release with a bow too. Would like to have seen a wrist strap to tighten."

Great set of Glomitts

"I saw these back on Black Friday and had to get them. My old gloves were falling apart. They were around $60 for Black Friday but I didn't end getting them until the winter sale for about $80. Still worth it though. A day after we had a snow storm, so it was the perfect time to test them out shoveling and working in the snow. They are warm and tough, stayed dry, fit in my jacket pockets like my old gloves. Thought they are a little larger than my old ones. Definitely recommend."

Northstar Glomitt

"Not as warm as I hoped. I also used the size chart which said to order large. Needed XL but I missed the deadline to return them so now I am stuck with them. Other than that they seem to be a good glove."

Enjoy the claw design for daily tasks, but mitten is too large

"I measured my fingers according to the instructions prior to purchasing and the claw (thumb and index fingers) are sized right, but the rest of the glove is oversized. You will incidentally move your windshield wiper and turn signal levers when driving and just holding the steering wheel because the mitten part is too long. Warm when on the move, working, but not as warm when just sitting."

Glomitt

"I used the glomitt on a snowmobile fishing trip in the most northern part of Minnesota and into Ontario Canada. I like the separate index finger for a little bit of added dexterity. Temperatures were single digits below 0F. My index finger was cold within 10 miles but had room to tuck it in with my other 3 fingers. I was hopeful they were a bit more insulated but overall well constructed, windproof and comfortable. Similar in warmth to iceArmor mitts but better constructed. For me they are better suited for above 10F temps on a snowmobile. Haven’t had the chance to use them in the below 0 temps while just walking around or hunting."

Justin M. (4/5)

Temperature Rating Is Too Generous

"When I wear these without a liner in 10-15 degrees with a 0 degree wind chill my forefinger and thumb get really cold. Tucking your hand into the main cavity helps, but these are definitely not good to -20 to -40 on their own or probably even with a thin liner. So, they're a very good option for cold but not frigid weather"

Q&A

Will index finger allow you to shoot a shotgun waterfowl hunting or is it too big?
It will likely be a little tight. The Yukon Pro Glove is a more ideal option
Is their a removable liner inside or is it one piece with the outer shell?
There is no removable liner, but StrongFleece 220 or ULTRA Merino 210 can be used as the liner, if desired.
