"They are pretty awesome. My last rain gear was was loud and krinkly. Quiet is good for a wildlife photographer. The interior does not get that damp wet plastic feel other raincoats get. And finally It keeps the rain out and is light weight!"

"Light, flexible, quiet, and lots of zippers…the L is a bit tight for a 34 waist. It has no cinching mechanism for the cuffs but this actually worked out for the better for me as all the cinching methods I have used are problematic."

Perfect Performing Northridge

"Wanted a lightweight packable waterproof pant for Roe Buck Stalking in Aberdeenshire this August as weather can be up and down. The Northridge looked like the perfect option and i was not dissapointed. Incredibly light but still waterproof with plenty of pocket space. Suprisingly warm as well although when the yomping really started i got a bit sweaty. Fits great but as always with Kuiu i go a size up so L was perfect and gives me room to move. Can't recommend the pants highly enough !"

One inseam size available? - TOO LONG

"Overall, the material and quality appear to be of normal Kuiu level. Only offering one inseam length (34”) in XL is puzzling. I was looking for a lightweight rain pant, this seemed to fit my needs. If the cuff opening wasn’t so large the excess length wouldn’t be ideal, but could work. The cuff opening is so generous, that boots or shoes aren’t going to keep the pants from wrapping over your heel and walking on the pants. Returned."

Failed day one in Alaska

"The zipper on the right leg ripped within an hour on the first day on my 7 day Alaska trip. I ended up using duct tape and super glue. There should be some sort of cover on the bottom cuff to keep the zipper from snagging on the Alaskan brush. I am pretty disappointed, been a KUIU fan for years and have thousands of dollars in their products but the Northridge Rain pant I can not recommend. Although I am sure customer service would take care of me when I get home it would not help in the remote location I was in. ."
