This is my second time

"This is my second time purchasing this tent. It is light duty and can rip easily on rocks if you don’t take care at setup but is by far the best tent ever. You will want to water proof it before you go out on your sheep hunt. Once sealed it is able to withstand heavy downpours for days. It is also holds up to extreme winds if anchored properly. A bit tight for two dudes but very doable. Our rifles, backpacks, boots fit perfectly under the vestibules. The only thing I would ask of kuiu is to make this tent another 6 inches wider and have the vestibules a touch bigger to allow more room for rain days with two guys hunkered down. It’s so light as is it so it could be bigger and the extra weight would be a non issue. Great tent alongside a lightweight tarp for 2 adults."

Tent pools

"Brand new. First use a week of setting up in the mountains a tent pool is already bent."

Won’t stand behind product

"I am disappointed with this tent and with Kuiu’s customer service. On the first use, multiple poles bent during normal setup and use. There was no abuse, high wind, or misuse; this occurred on the tent’s first outing. For a premium tent at this price, I expected better durability. Kuiu’s response was also disappointing. They declined warranty coverage, describing the bent poles as “normal wear and tear” and stating that because the tent is still functional, the poles do not qualify. As an engineer, I disagree. Once an aluminum pole yields and remains bent, its structural integrity is compromised. A pole that has permanently deformed on first use is not performing as designed, even if the tent can still be assembled. I have purchased a lot of Kuiu gear over the years because I expected high quality and reliable support. This experience has significantly reduced that trust. When you pay premium prices, you expect premium products and service. I did not receive that here. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this tent and will be more cautious about buying additional Kuiu products."

Stone sheep

"Have not used it yet going on 10 day stone sheep Aug 11"

Perfect for NZ conditions

"Perfect hunting tent. Lightweight, stands up to heavy rain and has enough space for all my gear. You wouldn’t fit another adult in it comfortably but I’m big guy. I’m very happy with the purchase."

Richard W. (5/5)

More tents should be designed like this.

"I don't understand why more top mountaineering and backpacking brands dont design tents like this? It's like they've never slept out in bad weather before. This tent makes sense. Pitch the fly! That's where you need the stability and structure. There are guy out points wherever you need them. Hats off to the team at Kuiu. Clearly they actually get out and use this stuff. They're definitely thinking. Well done guys."
