Bad customer support. Two dmg tents in a row.

"​I love the design of this tent, but the quality control is frustrating. My first tent arrived with damaged inner mesh. Because customer service was run by an unhelpful AI chatbot, I couldn't just get a replacement inner tent and had to return the whole unit. I gave it a second chance, but the replacement tent arrived with the exact same mesh damage. I'm keeping it because I like the tent itself, but the customer support and quality control are very disappointing. Doesnt seem it will effect performance but for a tent this cost id expect better quality control."

Good tent, couple things could make it easier to set up.

"Color coding on what poles to put is where is not clear. Ground Matt is also not really well labelled to know what direction it needs to be. The last thing is the zippers for the tent body seem to be backwards. You can’t just open a small section like a normal double zipper. It opens from both sides with a single zipper pull on both sides. Great warm weather tent overall. Just used it on a 8 night remote Alaska hunt and it did a great job keeping us dry and mosquitoe free!"

really good tent investment

"my thoughts for this tent is amazing, me and my wife took it out for 2 days, first time using easy to set up it took 5-10 minutes. we have a little rain/wind when we want out, in 30 minutes we had heavy blow wind, pea up to marble size hail. winds up to 30 mph, didn't have the guidelines out and not a drop of rain in side very impressed, it worth the money for this tent really good tent investment"

Mountain Star 3P is definitely a STAR

"This is a great tent. Purchased for two people, so there’s ample room to sleep and store gear inside. Very spacious vestibules and I like the symmetrical door openings on either side meaning you get a good view whilst in the tent, and shelter for cooking if it’s raining. The inner is fantastic! The inner fabric is held taught with no sagging material anywhere. The inner door walls are vertical and the ends almost vertical providing a very spacious interior with loads of headroom. 8 stash pockets are a welcome addition. Two clothes lines strung around the upper. I would have liked a central light hoop, but you can hang a light almost anywhere around the lines, or simply add a loop yourself. The tent is solid once pitched and stands very taught even without the guys pegged out. I like the colours and the reflective logo inside is cool at night. I can’t really fault this tent and would recommend it if you want a spacious 3 person tent for luxurious 2 people camping. And at around 5lb in weight, this tent ticks all the boxes for me. Well done KUIU."
