"Although I haven't had the opportunity to use this jacket in the frigid conditions I bought it for it seems like it should be warm. I like the sleeve design that you can raise your arms over your head and the body doesn't ride up. I wish the shell was a quieter material. I tried it on over my Superdown LT and a midweight base layer and the fit was great. I would give it 5 stars if it had a couple more pockets and was quieter."

"About time water"proof: wind"proof" utilized i can't believe getting highest review...the outer material is noisy. When the super down jacket came out in noise proof cloth a year after I purchased it was very disappointed! I guess we'll see if you now bring it out noiseless outer cloth and disappointed me again. Seems warm but I won't know till cool. Other than noisy seems like a really good jacket."

"Purchased before back country hunt in Montana. Wore it one day that was below freezing with a fleece jacket under it, to bulky. the next day wore with normal layers, was above freezing. Got to mountain top 35-40 Degrees with 40+ ml. an hour winds. Had hunting buddy's in valley chasing trophy size elk. We seen go in there the night before. I set on an exit point for over 8 hours. My face was wind burned. The coat kept me quite warm. Defiantly glad I had it. Only piece of new equipment, I bought, for trip. Glad, I did."
