"This jacket reminds me so much of the Kenia jacket. Which is my favorite outter layer from Kuiu. Its like a armored reinforced Kenia jacket. Sleeve are a little big but should be perfect with a super down underneath when temperatures are extremely bad."

A Definite Must

"This is my 2nd Mountain Pro—the first was when I was nearly 40 pounds heavier. It performs as billed and is versatile with a base layer plus or minus a vest in the middle. Wish it had a 2-way zipper but still rate it 5 stars. Not a hunter but rather wildlife photographer. Similar in lots of hiking with gear hopefully followed by lots of time on an animal being sedentary. This jacket works."

"I recently took it through its paces at Lassen Volcanic Park, snow-shoeing from 6000 feet above sea level to just below 8,000 feet. The coat performed beautifully. The zipper air vents allowed me not to overheat when going non-stop for extended periods. Very placed with this coat. It is the best coat I ever owned."

Mountain Pro is a great “do it all”

"Weather has been really warm in NE Colorado but the little that I’ve casually worn it, it’s very nice and warm, great materials and detail! Definitely a solid choice for an all around winter jacket. I bought it for casual use not hunting so not sure on the quietness of it. Not as quiet as my guide pro but it’s still a solid choice."

How quiet is the jacket in sub zero weather?
The Mountain PRO Hooded Jacket is a waterproof jacket so it does have some noise compared to our soft shell or fleece items. It is however quieter than a good majority of the rain gear out there
