Tough and light

"The kutana is a perfect blend of toughness and light weight. I love the attacks but they can be a little heavy for warmer temperatures. The kutanas are tougher and lighter than the attacks making them a perfect pant for on the go moving especially heavy brush. The shorts are great too"

These pants absolutely crushed it.

"I’m 5’10”, 185 pounds, and ordered a 32 waist with a 34 inseam, then had them hemmed to a 32.5 inseam. The fit was great. Wore them three days straight on a canoeing and camping trip in the Adirondacks, which is basically a hostile work environment for pants. They performed solidly both in and out of the canoe, comfortable paddling, scrambling around camp, and generally doing whatever questionable outdoor activities I got myself into. Three days, one pair of pants, zero complaints. At this point, I’m pretty sure the pants had a better trip than I did."

Great Pants

"Worn once on a ruffed grouse hunt so far. Very light, seemed to hold up to the brush No snags in the material. Fit is good. Much better than faced jeans. My first pair of technical pants. Kuiu had them on sale so I finally launched. I don’t think I’ll be disappointed after further use."

Size up, Fits Small

"Bought a pair of 34" waist 34" Inseam PRO PANTS. Love them, they fit perfect. Enough room to throw some long underwear on and still be loose and comfortable. Athletic Fit. Bought same size in the Kutana Stretch Woven pants and the legs are SKIN TIGHT! Huge difference. Don't understand why."

Great multi-purpose adventure and tactical pants!

"Very comfortable and durable. Tested great in summer and fall weather. Haven’t had the opportunity to try in cold weather yet. Fit and functionality are top-notch. Inseam was a little shorter than I expected for 34”, which was actually perfect for me. I though I was going to have to hem them, but they fit perfectly with boots!"

"Great fit. Solid construction and they seem to be pretty durable. I’m using these for a southern Arizona desert environment. That’s a bit more sparse and doesn’t really need the pick resistance from something like a Brush Pant. Everything out here tries to hurt you, so a little bit of protection over and above what the Tiburon would provide is helpful."

Super Durable and Comfortable

"I wore them three days in a row on a southeast New Mexico archery mule deer hunt. They are super comfortable. During that hunt, I went miles through sand dunes, thorns, and thick brush. I hunted through several rainstorms in them (3”+ of rain). The pants held up great and were very water-resistant. Super impressed with their comfort and durability. They were quiet enough to stalk into bow range of multiple mule deer bucks in semi-flat brushy country. I will be hard pressed to go hunting again without Kuiu pants, these probably being my favorite."

Great early season pant

"As an early season pant, these are great. While they are not durable against thorns in berry thickets, I cannot hold that against these pants. Not much holds up to blackberry thickets of Western Oregon. However, they do well against burs and grass seeds. Cleaning the burs, what few do hold on, is easy peasy. I look forward to many more seasons of western elk hunting in these pants."

Perfect lightweight pant.

"My only regret is I only bought 2 pair. I wore them last weekend hanging stands in the river bottom with no wind - it was brutal. Could have only been better wearing shorts, wasn’t going to do that so into poison ivy and sumac. I highly recommend. I’ll also be bow hunting in these in the early season."

Great Outdoor Pants

"Pants are great. Side vents are a plus. Light and strong material, but comfortable. Will show damage and cuts along the way from the most abrasive encounters. Only gripe is they don’t make the shorter length I would have preferred. The extra length bunches at the ankles which isn’t terrible as it keeps covered while sitting. However the thigh is also longer and the upper knee articulation stitching can rub on my knee while hiking. Could become more bothersome on a longer day. Would be nice to try a pair with a shorter length and the knee distributed accordingly. They seem to run a little large but would allow for layering especially with zip offs. Good so far."
