"After a lot of research I decided on the Kutana jacket. I hunt lower South Island in NZ so plenty of big hills to get up. I needed something that balances durability with weight and this jacket ticks both boxes. I am also a fan of pit zips to dump excess heat when climbing. I usually run a L but after looking at other peoples comments online decided on an XL to give me enough room for a puffer underneath."

"I’ve owned rain gear from several high end brands over the years…some of them pretty good, but I’ve always found something to be lacking. Not with the Kutana! This is the best I’ve owned. The fit is perfect, it’s made of very durable material, and the overall quality is beyond my expectations. I ordered an XL top and L pant as this is my usual sizing so that I can layer underneath. It has a fitted feel, and still leaves room for some layering. Extremely happy with the purchase!"

- Curious if this jacket is loud when moving with it on? I bow hunt in Oregon and was wondering what jacket would provide the best water resistance / waterproof while not being loud when moving? Thank you
- The Kutana Storm Shell Set is our best combination of lightweight/packable, but extremely durable, but it does have more noise than our other options. The Yukon TR is quieter and more durable than the Kutana and might be the better option for your needs
- How quiet is this jacket in terms of walking through brush and when the fabric moves, like raising a gun to aim?
- While all rain gear will have some noise, the Kutana Storm Shell is pretty quiet for being 100% waterproof. I personally use it all the time and am strictly a bow hunter for big game.
- What would be the best application or product to bring back the waterproof ability for this jacket? Seems to start soaking up water after long periods in rainy weather. Jacket still dries very quickly however.
- We recommend the Grangers Wash/Repel or the Grangers Repel Plus Spray.
