"Ordered these pants for a duck trip in late October, they were worn for five days in a row with no issues. They performed as I expected and I stayed dry and warm throughout the trip, whether it was raining, windy or cold. I was very impressed with how well this gear worked as a windbreaker and I’m hoping to try out this gear for deer season, hoping it will keep me warm in some colder temps. Temps in 30s and 40s this stuff was plenty warm"

Great Fit and Features

"The fit is great and the features are well thought out but I haven’t taken it to the field yet since I received it in September. I’ve used the Gale Force jacket a couple of years for mountain hunting and cold weather hunting in Iowa and Kansas and have been impressed enough to order these pants. Waterproof performance (sitting in snow while glassing for elk) will be the deciding factor for me."

Made for Alaska’s Far North

"Just got back from a week of caribou hunting on the North Slope. Fogged in hill tops & rain for 3 & a 1/2 of those days with 20-25 mph winds & temps in the low to upper 30’s. Stayed dry, warm, & was completely comfortably with no base layers. Well worth the money!!!"

Not the right size

"Arrived too small. I wear a 44 and these were indicated 3xl @47. Did not for. Other than that quality product. Kuiu took back return and verifiers me. Great company."

Waterproof not so much

"Used them the first week i got them. Great feeling pants there very comfortable but when it rained about half the day I got wet!!! My outside of my knees got wet and my ass got wet. Not a good feeling when it said they where waterproof. . . ."

great pant

"Great Pant. i looked for a insulated, water and windproof pant with stretch material, so it does not hinder the comfort for long sits or stalks. First, i wasnt sure about the noise the material produces. There is a noise, its not a silent pant. But if you choose to wear this pant, the noise the pants generates while walking will be covered by the noise of wind and rain. Your not going to do stalkes in it in a complete windstill and low noise environment. I only wore it once and it was great. Lots of rain, still it kept me like i was sitting in my livingroom. Great stuff. One downside: For me and my body, all the Kuiu inseam lenghts are too long. in the sizes i need you can only choose one, if there is an option to choose at all. On the normal Attack,Guide Pro and other "normal" pants thats a thing a taylor can fix. But on this kind of pants with the zippers, tightning pulls and everything at the end of the inseam, there is no chance for that."
