Love It So Far!

"I have the coat and it fits well (5'9", 250, 53" around chest and hips, 50 around waist). I can comfortably layer Kuiu mid-layer gear. The quality of the garment seems to be absolutely first rate. That said, I've not tested it in cold or weather yet. So, at this preliminary position, everything I can rate I rate top-notch, but haven't yet tested it against the weather I bought it for."

"I’ve been using the jacket on a hunt in the Canadian arctic circle the past week with temps down in the 20s and 30s, with some strong winds. I wore it over a guide jacket, Peloton 97 hoodie, and Tiburon Zip-T and have been quite comfortable. we also have experienced some wet days and it has kept me dry."

Scale of 1-10 how quiet is the coat Compared to the Proximity (9) and Mt Pro (7)
The Kutana Gale Force Hooded Jacket will be similar in noise to the Mountain Pro. The Mountain Pro might be slightly quieter, but they are pretty close
How loud is the out material? Could this be used for bow hunting whitetails?

Kutana Gale Force Hooded Jacket. I've read the reviews and size information. According to your size charts, I am a Large at 6' 195 lbs. I purchased your 125 and 200 shirts in size large and they fit perfect. With that in mind, do I need to order a XL to have room for base and mid layer clothing under the Kutana Gale Force Jacket or does it come cut to allow for that already? I do not want it baggy but certainly do not want to be bound up in a fit that is too tight either. Thanks for your advice.
You'll want to take your measurements and order based off of the size chart on the product page to ensure the best fit. This is cut to accommodate a base and mid layer underneath.
Does this jacket allow u to zip off or zip in the hood ?
The hood is fully attached. It cannot be removed.
