"good product but was suprised the belt and clasp were connected by a small black piece instead of by the webbing. making it a fraction of the strength it could have been. also my last couple orders didnt come with stickers. that was my favourite part and was the best advertisment campaign. almost any order from haida gwaii is because of my verde truck and facebook posts in full gear head to toe verde."

GREAT BELT BUT SIZE MATTERS*****

"I feel like with EVERYTHING KUIU you have to size up. I have never worn a pant over size 36. With KUIU a 38 is snug and 40 is way too big. Just like this belt - the large size says it should fit 36-42 inch waste. There's no way unless you squeeze it on and if you can get it you're only left with a half inch of belt to loop. I sent this back and exchanged for the larger size as I have had to do with almost everything KUIU. Other that that I love the belt and most of their clothing as well."

It’s Okay

"I finally got a chance to try out the new belt yesterday and am a little disappointed. It’s definitely easier to get through the loops that the old D-ring style belt, but this one doesn’t stay snug. As I was hiking I kept having to tighten it back down and felt like I was pulling my pants up more than should have been necessary. It appears to be good quality, just not the performance I was hoping for. I think it would be fine for most casual hikes or a stroll. I was hiking some pretty rough country and it kept working loose."

Just okay

"Bought the web belt based on the representation that it would not slip. It does slip some, but bigger disappointment is that it is difficult to tighten. You can't just pull on the 'tag' end of the belt, but have to pull tight with one hand while trying to pull the tag end to tighten. Have to say my Bison web belts that cost half as much, which use a cam lock work much better."

It’s a Belt

"What can I say it’s a belt. I like the sturdiness, the strength and the feel of the fabric the belt is made of. The buckle hold firm and is strong. The only reason I gave it three stars instead of five is that the belt could be a little wider for one thing. The other thing is, I wish the belt came with a loop just past the buckle so that extra belt length can be tucked away securely. Not all pants that I purchased from Kuiu have a belt loop close to where the buckle attaches to tuck away this extra belt end."

"Love the belt, wish it fit! It’s six inches longer than my other two large webbing belts I have? Hope you guys are dialing in the consistency of your sizes…It’s my only complaint. Shouldn’t have to feel like I need to order two sizes of everything I purchase."

Very nice belt.

"Very nice belt, very light, would be useful for not only work in the bush (hunting) but also any time. Light but still sturdy enough to be used for concealed or open carry. Adjusts easily. Most other belts I've purchased are either too thick, too wide, too heavy (as if I need tactical carry in the bush), or not sturdy enough. KUIU seems to know what people need and just design and sell it. It's amazing that other companies can't seem to do that."

Awesome belt. A little long.

"The belt looks great and functions well. My only criticism is that on the website, medium was the smallest one available and the medium still leaves a little too much extra slack for my personal preference. But it's no problem, I just fold in the extra belt and secure it behind a belt loop."

Very nice belts but they do tend to work loose after a while

"I have 3 of these and they are pretty good. Very nicely made and light. I haven't worn the 3rd one yet but my first 2 tend to work loose after a few miles of hiking. Easy enough to tighten again and overall I'm pretty happy with them."
