USPS Serves Alaska - Imagine That

"Anchorage Alaska has the busiest cargo airport in the nation, and KUIU will not ship boots to Alaska. I bought these for my kid for his birthday, but I was forced to ship them to grandma's house in Wisconsin thereby paying WI tax and shipping charges twice. Do better!"

A tough boot

"Rugged feeling good sole grip likely will be warm tough to wear in summer months to warm had to purchase near two sizes more then normal run small or real snug I have wide feet not offered in wide to bad I could have gone down closer to my actual size"

Fantastic boots

"Fantastic boots, fit perfect and super comfortable. Walked about 8 miles in them with no complaints"

Great boots if they fix one thing

"Love the boots but the toe kick is too small. It's ok to get the one boot off but try kicking off the other boot w your bare foot. The boots fit nice and snug. No loose fit to give you blisters. I wore them about 12-15 times so far during Turkey season and general farm work. Very comfortable for all day. I think they will be too warm for June through August. By the way I'm a size 9 reg for all shoes and the size 9 boot fit great,"

Hard to take off the

"Hard to take off the hill tab is up to high. Also, the cushion and the soul was folded in half when I received them now I don’t lay flat in the bottom of the boot like it should."

"Love this boots I used through out the farm"

Great boots

"Very comfortable and fit perfect. I really like the top handles to pull on."

Court G. (5/5)

Heavy Comfort

"A little heavier than I expected but their other qualities “outweigh” the negatives. These boots are super comfortable right out of the box. I am a 12 1/2 and purchased a size 13. Plenty room for heavy socks but no heel rub with thin socks. The boots seem pretty durable initially. Time will tell how well they hold up. Traction is great. The pull up loops are awesome for getting into these boots easily. I really like the 18” height the size13 comes in. The insole wasn’t great but I use Powerstep inserts in all of my footwear due to high arches. Overall, a great boot even at the price you pay."

Mud Boots

"I have tried many brands over the years and finally decided to give Kuiu a try. Love the handles for pulling the boots on. Fit and feel is great, even after walking for miles."

Scott W. (5/5)

Great initial impression

"I ordered two sizes, my normal shoe size 10 and an 11. 10 was too tight, 11 slightly loose w heavy socks so I went w the 11. My last mud boots off a different basic brand lasted a good 15+ plus years so these will have to prove themselves. Initial impression is good quality. Like the grab rings for putting them on and the heal to ease removal. Cost more than expected but everything is the past few years"

Q&A

In comparison to other boot brands , what would this be compared to grams ?? ( 800,1200,1600, or more )???
The HD mud boots are constructed with a 7mm neoprene which is comparable to 1000+ grams of insulation.
