I live in the Mts

"I live in the Mts of Western NC. Although we have 4seasons they are moderate compared to folks in the true north. These gloves get used with a Kuiu liner for our coldest days, frequently using liner or glove alone as weather dictates. These gloves are not water-proof if that is what you need. They are light and easy to stuff in a pocket and have beeb great for my needs."

Packable gloves

"I bought my first set as a 2xl during a sale to try them, not knowing how they would fit… definitely bigger than most xl in the stores but not so big that they needed to be exchanged… this was my third set. I keep them n coat pockets so that I always have gloves available… xl is a smidge bigger than most others on the market. . definitely worth the price and would buy again."

Great gloves

"Absolutely amazing. Mid 30 degree weather and performed perfectly!!!"

The gloves did the job

"Purchased the gloves so I could wear them running my mud muddy motor up river on cold mornings during waterfowl season. On icy, cold mornings, your hands get very cold operating the motor while standing. I was a little concerned that I would not be able to get good grip because of the bulkiness, but was surprised at how forgiving they were and was able to handle the motor and throttle through the gloves. Plus the good thing was my hand stayed warm the whole time. We’ll see how long they last, but I’m sure if I take extra care of them they should give me a few years of warm hands on cold mornings."

Overall good gloves for cold weather

"I got to test these out for the first time when my truck got stuck in the snow. Based on the material I assumed they’d be pretty water resistant but I found that while digging myself out of the snow, the gloves ultimately got soaked. They still insulated decent enough though and if I hadn’t had to use my hands to dig through the snow I’m sure they’d of been fine. Overall like the rest of my kuiu gear, they work well, but most of all they’re comfortable."

Great gloves

"Great for Wisconsin winter coyote hunting. Thin enough to operate buttons on a thermal scope yet great warmth as well. These and the Super Down Pro Glassing Glommit will get you through the season."

Tim P. (5/5)

Very Nice

"I keep these in a dry bag with a hooded down lt jacket and pants. Kind of my emergency kit incase things go bad with weather. Very compact and yet warm! Fit true to measured size."

Handschuhe

"Handschuhe fallen etwas grösser aus. Ist gut so dann kann man noch ein paar darunter anziehen. Halten Wärme sehr gut, war bei minus 8 celsius unterwegs. Einziges Minus, keine Schlaufe für Karabiner zum sichern."

Axel A. (4/5)

Water resistant, not waterproof.

"Perfect fit and warm. It would be nice if they were waterproof."

Dirk B. (4/5)

I'd buy every color

"These are great gloves that are light and warm. They are especially warm when worn with the same size merino wool liners from Kuiu. The only issue I have is that when the tips of the fingers got wet, they weren't as warm. I would buy another pair just to have them."

Q&A

can use while rifling hunting?
These are great for glassing, but for an actual trigger glove, we recommend the ULTRA Merino 210 glove, which can be layered under the Kenai Packable Glove.
