Reviews

These pants work exactly like

"These pants work exactly like I hoped they would. There’s only one thing that bugs me, which is not having a front zipper. It didn’t even occur to me when I bought them that not having a zipper was a possibility on a pair of pants. Taking a leak is a little more complicated and noisy with the Velcro, but I can live with that."

— Jonathan C. (5/5)

Solid Construction

"Good fit over my attack pant. I will be taking them on my late November elk hunt in northern New Mexico."

— Ian M. (4/5)

Just not for me

"I expected them to be larger but they were too small to go on as an external layer. Order a larger size. Also they did not pack as small as expected so I returned them"

I am very satisfied with

"I am very satisfied with the Kenai Pant. In"

Average

"For as much as these cost they're average at best. They do not offer a length on the legs. for me they're 3 inches too long."

— Richard B. (3/5)

Kenai Pant

"Love these, the only way I would improve them is to add a fly and at least one pocket."

— Trevor M. (4/5)

Almost perfect

"Great piece, I like to use over layers as described. It is extremely quiet, warm, lightweight, and pajama comfortable. It could be so much more functional if only it had a fly zipper. I really like it as a “truck to stand” pant. After layering over it, access become an issue."

— Timothy N. (4/5)

Whitetail pants for the modern hunter

"Amazing insulation layer. Great fit and very packable for an insulation piece that isn’t down. Whitetail hunting is my jam and I sat in 12” of snow on a thin pad comfortably. I tried the kryptek comparable pants and these take the cake in comparison."

— Dalton S. (5/5)

Good warmth. A few things

"Good warmth. A few things I don't like. Velcro straps only to secure the waist. Material is not very durable and water resistance is minimal at best which is not as advertised"

— Derek R. (3/5)

Great performance however it's missing one key feature.

"The Kenai is an extremely warm and quiet pant that performs well. It could be improved by adding a front zipper or opening."

— Todd F. (5/5)

Q&A

Why do these not come in the camo patterns?
Like our base layer pants, our insulation layer pants don't generally come in camo options, as they are intended to be worn under and outer layer.
